STACEY Bendet has gone from grind to gratitude and is feeling hotter than ever. Bendet previously told Page Six that they were having a âfun girl summer,â which sheâs been chronicling on Instagram with snaps from boat days, spa sessions and glamorous parties. Now, Bendet says theyâre embracing life in their 40s more than ever. âWe were just saying today that we are at this point in our 40s where we are so happy with who we are and what we do and where we are in our life,â she told us at Maison Close in Southampton, where she celebrated her âSpotlightâ magazine cover. âWe were like, âYou know what? We feel hotter than we did in our 20s.ââ For Bendet, getting older has meant finally enjoying the success she spent decades building. âI always had this pressure to build and grow,â the designer, who founded the much beloved brand in 2002 told us. âI knew I had this opportunity in life that wasnât just given to me. I always worked for everything I had and never took anything for granted.â And while that work ethic hasnât changed â her perspective has. âToday, I still donât take things for granted. Weâve had our kids, weâre raising our kids. Every day, I love what I do.â That doesnât mean Bendet is slowing down. She recently launched her Legends collection celebrating iconic musicians including The Rolling Stones, Guns Nâ Roses, Willie Nelson, The Beach Boys and The Who, marking the launch with a Southampton party attended by Brooke Shields and daughters Rowan and Grier Henchy. Sheâs also deep into preparations for New York Fashion Week, teasing an âEnchantedâ-themed Alice + Olivia show. âThe show is gonna be really fâing crazy and coolâ she said, promising âover-the-top, maximalist glamour.â
