Dorit Kemsley wants her estranged husband, PK Kemsley, to remember the good times from their failed marriage.
âThe Real Housewives of Beverly Hillsâ star spoke to Page Sixâs âVirtual Real-Teaâ Wednesday about her new memoir, âUnburdened,â and said what she wants PK to get out of the book is to remember their deep history together.
âI really hope that itâs gonna help remind him, really, of who him and I were, who we are, the love that we shared, the bond,â she said.
Dorit and PK have two children together: son Jagger, 12, and daughter Phoenix, 10. Dorit said that for them to successfully co-parent together, they needed to put aside their differences.
âLet go of the resentments, the anger, the hurt,â she said. âReally, at the end of the day, none of it matters. And thereâs so much more good that can come from being able to be friends and effectively coâparent our children.â
She added, âSo I really hope itâll remind him of the good, because it feels like heâs stuck in a place where he only thinks negative.â
Dorit also shared that PK has expressed no interest in reading her memoir, nor has he congratulated her on it yet.
âIâm sure there was a part of him that was a little nervous,â she mused. âHowever, you know, weâll see.â
Dorit, 49, and PK, 58, separated in May 2024Â after nearly a decade of marriage.
The two said in a joint statement at the time, âTo safe guard our deep friendship and maintain a harmonious environment for our children we have made the mutual and difficult decision to take some time apart and reevaluate our relationship while we prioritize our children.â
The following April, Dorit filed for divorce hours after PK was seen kissing another reality star â Shana Wall, who appeared on CBSâs âThe Amazing Race.â
The divorce has since turned contentious. Last month, PK claimed in a court filing obtained by Page Six that Dorit spent more than $1 million on designer items, even as they faced potential foreclosure on their Los Angeles home.
He also claimed that despite the travel and designer item expenses, she failed to make any mortgage payments on their home and made âonly one related utility paymentâ during the time period, despite having âexclusive useâ of the residence since April 2024.
The exesâ home, which they purchased back in 2019, carries over $6 million in mortgage debt, TMZ reported.
