Catherine Zeta-Jones and Michael Douglas enjoy undercover date at the Monaco Grand Prix

Celebrities have been flocking in their droves to Monaco this weekend for the prestigious Grand Prix to check out Formula 1’s most elite races.

So far, we’ve seen sisters Kim and Khloe Kardashian grace the Circuit de Monaco on Saturday, wowing onlookers with their simple yet glamorous race-day attire of Gucci jeans and plunging vest tops.

However, it’s always a treat to see movie stars appear, so we were delighted to see Hollywood royalty Catherine Zeta-Jones and Michael Douglas in on the action. Catherine, 56, shared a stunning image of the pair aboard a boat, with the glamorous peaks of Monaco in the background. “Monaco Grand Prix weekend,” she penned.

The couple looked in great spirits, both donning what one may call undercover attire. The actors showcased hats and sunglasses, which undoubtedly kept them cool in the blistering heat, but also concealed their faces; after all, they are two of the most famous people in the world.

Catherine’s latest red carpet moment

We last saw The Mask of Zorro star last month as she joined the cast and creators of Netflix hit Wednesday for a special FYSEE Emmy event in Los Angeles.

The Oscar-winning actress stepped out at Hollywood Forever Cemetery alongside co-star Jenna Ortega, who leads the hugely successful gothic series as Wednesday Addams. The event celebrated the critically acclaimed show ahead of Emmy season and brought together much of the cast and creative team, including director Tim Burton and producers Miles Millar and Alfred Gough.

Mother-of-two Catherine, who portrays Morticia Addams in the show, wowed fans in her figure-hugging red gown, which boasted delicate ruched detailing throughout and a dramatic floral accent at the neckline. She layered the bold look with an oversized black blazer draped elegantly over her shoulders, completing the ensemble with pointed black heels and sparkling diamond rings. Beauty-wise, the Darling Buds of May star wore her long raven tresses in loose waves parted down the centre while opting for glamorous makeup featuring smoky eyes, bronzed skin and a soft nude lip.

Meanwhile, her on-screen daughter Jenna embraced her signature edgy style in a grey cropped suit featuring sharp tailoring and a daring cut-out detail across the chest. What a chic pair!
