Carrot Top reportedly overdosed on prescription pills during his alleged suicide attempt Friday.
The comedian, 61, took prescription medicine before he was hospitalized for a suspected overdose, TMZ reported Monday.
The outlet reported that crews from the Clark County Fire Department in Las Vegas responded to his home around 4:20 p.m. Friday after receiving a call about a 61-year-old male who was “not alert.”
Though a City of Las Vegas ambulance responded, the longtime Vegas performer — whose real name is Scott Thompson — was transported to the hospital via a private ambulance that also responded to the scene.
