Elizabeth Hurley stunned fans on social media when she showcased her rippling abs while dressed in a black workout set on Monday.
The 61-year-old looked better than ever in a pair of leggings and a sports bra, with her muscular abs and toned arms on full display. She completed the look with a colorful hair tie that kept her brunette tresses back.
The actress’s hands rested on her hips as she looked out into the distance while standing on a beach, with waves crashing in the background.
“I haven’t been to a gym since the ’90s and keep active by gardening and trimming hedges, but with no bushes to trim or weeds to pull in LA, I’m taking time to S-T-R-E-T-C-H,” she wrote in the caption, as her fans rushed to the comment section to share the love.
“The most beautiful woman in the world!!!” one fan wrote, while another added: “OMG, you look absolutely amazing. I hope I look as good as you do.”
A third chimed in: “Health is truly wealth!” while another said: “You look amazing and never seem to age!”
Elizabeth’s golden rules
Elizabeth has been open in the past about achieving her enviable figure, and shared insight into her diet in a lengthy 2024 Instagram caption.
“One question I get asked all the time is, how do you stay in shape and what do you eat?” she began.

“So here goes. My mantra is: don’t eat too much, too fast, too often or too late. Or, put another way, eat smaller meals, chew properly, ban snacking and eat dinner earlier.”
“I don’t drink weird green juices or shakes and only take supplements if a blood test tells me I’m lacking something…Other than diet, my other advice is to move more. I don’t go to the gym or do any set exercise, but I’m extremely active. There endeth the sermon.”
Taking care of herself
The mother of one told HELLO! that taking care of herself was paramount to living a happy and healthy life.
“I think really taking the time to take care of our health is one of the most important things we can do,” she explained.
“You really realize that women have to know their bodies…really be aware if something feels different. They really need to be in tune with their own bodies. And take care of themselves in order for them to be there to take care of everybody else because that’s what we do.”
For Elizabeth, aging has meant paying closer attention to how she treats her body. “Of course, when you’re really looking after your health, you tend to look better at the same time,” she told the Daily Mail.
“They definitely advise us not to carry any excess weight, and to exercise and eat healthily, and they advise against alcohol, so I try to follow those guidelines as much as I can. I don’t drink much alcohol at all.”
She added: “I’ve also found that as I’ve got older, my body processes it less well than it did when I was younger. I only drink alcohol as an absolute treat now.”
