Carrie Johnson seldom fails to school us with her sartorial portfolio – and her recent heatwave look proved no exception to the rule.

The mother-of-four, 38, was a summer bombshell as she and her brood of four, Wilfred, six, Romy, four, Frank, three and Poppy, one, headed for a trip to the Cotswolds with former Prime Minister Boris Johnson.

Carrie was a vision in white during the trip

The family-of-six enjoyed a stay at the Dubledon Hall Hotel, and Carrie’s holiday wardrobe has left us seriously inspired.

One of her stand-out looks was a gorgeous white summer dress that featured an elegant off-the-shoulder neckline. Carrie showed off the dress beautifully as she posed on the luxurious bed inside her room.

It wasn’t just Carrie’s pristine dress that left us impressed, as she also opted for an ultra on-trend ensemble, posing with an alpaca in a pair of polka-dot capris.

Carrie paired the trending trousers with a chic roll-neck top, her iconic honey-blonde locks softly swept back into a functional low plait.

Carrie and Boris’ special family time away

Alongside the slew of photos, Carrie penned a lengthy caption sharing the details of their time away.

“Earlier this week, the kids and I escaped to the Cotswolds for a little staycation. We were invited for a pr stay at the newly reopened @dumbletonhall , and completely fell in love with it. The house and grounds are breathtaking, the food was exceptional and, most importantly for us, they couldn’t have been more welcoming to families.

“Travelling with four small children isn’t always the easiest, but they arranged camp beds and a sofa bed so we could all stay together in one room, which made the whole trip feel so much more relaxed.

One of my favourite moments was teaching the children to play croquet on the lawn, before settling down with a cocktail to watch the cricket. My idea of heaven.

We also spent a brilliant morning at @sudeleycastle, where Queen Catherine Parr lived and is buried. Between the adventure playground, beautiful gardens and castle grounds, we all loved it.

Carrie continued:” Our final planned stop was @cotswold_vale_alpacas , where we walked two alpacas—Stanley and Nigel—fed some of the young male alpacas, and met the newest babies. Stanley was, obviously, our favourite.

“Although that wasn’t quite the end of the adventure… On the drive home, our car broke down at a rather remote picnic spot, which I later discovered has a bit of a reputation for being a local dogging spot…Thankfully the AA saved us pretty speedily. A very memorable little trip.”
