Glen Powell breaks silence on ‘very serious’ relationship with Landman star Michelle Randolph

Glen Powell and Michelle Randolph only went Instagram official in July, but the actor admitted that their relationship is “very serious.”

The 37-year-old broke his silence for the first time since confirming their romance while signing autographs for fans in New York City on Thursday, September 3.

Glen was asked by TMZ if he was nervous about going “IG official” with the 28-year-old Landman actress, and his response instilled nothing but confidence in their relationship.

“Nah, it’s not,” the Anyone But You star replied. “It’s never nerve-wracking if you believe in it.”

His answer prompted the reporter to ask if an engagement is in the couple’s near future, to which he replied: “I’d say it’s very serious.”

While this is the first time Glen has commented on the romance, Michelle has yet to speak publicly about her new man.

Glen confirmed their romance on Instagram in July, posting a PDA snap of himself and Michelle kissing as part of a “photo dump” from their Fourth of July celebrations. 

“Hell of a Fourth,” he wrote in the caption. Alongside the loved-up snap, Michelle was featured in a series of fun photos showing the new couple enjoying garden games, a dip in the lake, and volleyball among other exciting activities.

The update was met with joy from the Twisters actor’s 2.8 million followers. “Awwww love this!!! @glenpowell you and @michellerandolph are the freaking cutest!!!” one fan penned alongside a string of red love heart emojis. 

“Michellllleeeeeeeeee,” another wrote alongside a heart eyes emoji. “NUMBER 19 I’m dyyyyyyying,” another added, referring to the snap. “Now THAT’S a hard launch,” penned another.

While this was the first confirmed sighting of the couple’s romance on social media, 1923 star Michelle appeared to have subtly included Glen in a post in June.

Taking to her Instagram account, the Californian-born star shared a carousel of summer photos, one of which showed her red ballet flats standing next to someone wearing brown cowboy boots, likely to be her new beau.

The couple first sparked romance rumors in November when they were captured in a TikTok video dancing together at a bar in Glen’s hometown of Austin, Texas.

Michelle was born in Northern California but relocated to Huntington Beach at 16 to pursue modelling.

“After signing with Wilhelmina Models, I immediately started acting. When I booked my very first movie, the second I walked onto set, I had so much fun and realised that’s all I wanted to do,” she told Grazia. “I stopped modelling and pursued acting ever since.”

Michelle went on to land a few roles in movies before getting her big break on Taylor Sheridan’s Yellowstone spinoff, 1923. Michelle was subsequently cast in Sheridan’s Texas-based drama Landman.
