Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s lavish Madison Square Garden wedding didn’t just make headlines — it also likely made history for sheer costs alone.

The superstar couple’s star-studded celebration is estimated to have cost $30 million or more, with roughly $5 million alone spent on florals and decor, according to Esther Lee, editorial director at The Knot Worldwide.

Speaking exclusively to Page Six, Lee broke down the staggering logistics behind transforming the iconic New York arena into an intimate wedding venue for over 1,000 guests.

“While the average American wedding sits at $34,000, according to The Knot Real Weddings Study, this production would’ve operated on a completely different scale,” Lee explained.

She estimated that simply securing MSG, including several days for load-in and load-out, plus the infrastructure needed to transform the venue would have cost between $5 million and $10 million.

The decor alone was another massive investment.

“We estimate the decor and florals to be, at minimum, $5 million,” Lee said. “Not to forget that custom draping and carpet installation had to transform the space entirely.”

Lee also estimated catering, service and guest logistics for the roughly 1,100 guests cost between $2.5 million and $3 million; while bridal attire, menswear and entertainment likely added another $2 million.

The wedding also featured customized guest gifts including lavish candle sets inspired by the couple’s favorite scents, personalized “T&T” branding, and elaborate games and prizing, all of which contributed to the final bill.

“We estimate the total cost sits in the $20 million to $30+ million range, cementing it as a massive economic engine for the local NY economy and broader wedding industry at large,” she said.

According to Lee, planning a celebration of this magnitude would have required months of coordination and multiple high-level planning sessions.

“The couple might’ve had four to six major ‘milestone’ consultations that included master presentations where they reviewed the blueprint, tasted catering options and approved the custom Dior sketches, not to mention fittings,” she explained.

But before colors, flowers or decor were ever selected, privacy was the top priority.

“For a high-profile celebrity wedding, privacy and logistics are more likely to dictate the first stages of planning,” Lee said. “For Taylor and Travis, that meant finding an environment that allowed for total street closures and direct, private vehicle access, which is why Madison Square Garden was a prime choice for the couple on this momentous occasion.”

Once the venue, date and security plan were finalized, designers could begin bringing the couple’s vision to life.

“Top designers do not just pick a generic theme,” Lee explained. “Instead, they start with spatial design and figure out how to make a cavernous space feel intimate.”

The pop superstar and the Kansas City Chiefs tight end, both 36, had an impressive mix of family members, longtime friends, teammates and celebrity guests attend their MSG bash.

Celebrities included Swift’s close friends Gigi Hadid and Bradley Cooper, Dakota Johnson, her longtime publicist, Tree Paine, and childhood best friend, Abigail Anderson.

Machine Gun Kelly, Kelsea Ballerini, sports reporter Erin Andrews, “Modern Family” alum Eric Stonestreet and his wife, Lindsay Schweitzer, and Benson Boone were also spotted heading to the A-list affair.

Just around 7:30 p.m., the Garden’s exterior lit up with pink digital screens reading “JUST&T MARRIED!”

Paine confirmed to Page Six the “Love Story” singer walked down the aisle in a Christian Dior haute couture gown, and that Adam Sandler officiated the ceremony.

Austin Swift served as his sister’s “man of honor,” while Kelce’s older brother, Jason Kelce, served as his best man, Paine also confirmed.

Several of the newlyweds’ guests gave first glimpses into the A-list affair, including a large staircase covered in red carpet surrounded by white and dark pink curtains.

There were multiple Garden staff members wearing black at the top of the stairs, which appeared to be the grand entrance to the ceremony.

The Grammy winner and the Super Bowl champ revealed their engagement in August 2025 with a playful Instagram post that read, “Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married,” ending the caption with a dynamite emoji, seemingly referencing their “TNT” nickname.
