Barefaced Katie Holmes shows off all ‘natural’ look in stripped back bathroom video

Katie Holmes is still a “’90s kid” at heart, and her approach to make up shows it.

Over the weekend, in partnership with ever-popular make-up brand Merit, the Dawson’s Creek alum took to Instagram and shared a glimpse into her make-up routine, noting she tends to go for minimal make-up given she doesn’t always feel very “confident” in her abilities to apply it.

“I’m still learning,” she said, crediting her make-up artist Genevieve for always giving her the best tips and tricks, including applying a “little dot” of blush on the nose. “Kind of like salt when you’re cooking.”

Katie’s make-up routine consisted of some concealer, blush, eyebrow pencil, mascara, lip pencil, and she topped it all off with some lip gloss.

“Some makeup tips and makeup that make life easier! Or at least getting ready a little easier,” she captioned her post.

Fans were then quick to take to the comments section and shower her with compliments, with one suggesting: “Could you possibly keep making videos? I freaking love this,” as others followed suit with: “Very natural and pretty,” and: “You look absolutely stunning,” as well as: “I love how Katie is letting herself age gracefully like many of us. We get to see her being her truly beautiful self.”
