Amy Schumer was glowing on a Mediterranean vacation with her son and close friends, while showcasing her incredible weight loss transformation in a sizzling red swimsuit. The 44-year-old wowed in the red number, as she stood atop a paddleboard in pristine blue waters, with her athletic figure on full display.Â
Amyâs social media post also included snaps of her soaking up the sun on a boat, cuddling up to her son, Gene, and dressing up for a glamorous night in a blush pink silk gown. The comedienneâs friends and fans went wild for the look, with one commenting: âWe love you Amy! You look fab and happy!!!â while another added: âBeautiful,â and a third shared: âMight become my screensaver!âÂ
Amy appeared in good spirits in the pictures, just months after she announced her split from her husband of seven years, Chris Fischer, on social media. âBlah blah blah Chris and I have made the difficult decision to end our marriage after 7 years,â she wrote.Â
âWe love each other very much and will continue to focus on raising our son. We would appreciate people respecting our privacy at this time.â
âBlah blah blah not because I dropped some lbs and thought I could bag a basket, and not because heâs a hot James Beard Award-winning chef who can still pull some hot tail. Amicable and all love and respect! Family forever,â she concluded.Â
Amid her separation from Chris, Amy has been on a health journey that has seen her lose over 50 lbs and eliminate her Cushing syndrome. The blonde beauty developed the hormonal disorder around 2024 and was prompted to see a doctor after facing a wave of online hate.Â
âSo I got these steroid injections, and so it gave me this thing called Cushing syndrome â which I wouldnât have known if the internet hadnât come for me so hard,â she said on the Call Her Daddy podcast.Â

âI learned I had this condition, and that I had something called moon face, and Iâm starring in a movie â and thereâs a camera right in my face, and Iâm like, âOh, my God.â I was feeling really down on myself before I started filming this movie.â
The syndrome is caused by excess cortisol in the body, and can lead to weight gain, skin issues, diabetes and high blood pressure. Amyâs weight loss journey led her to GLP-1 medications, including Ozempic, Wegovy and Mounjaro. The medications work to suppress appetite, slow digestion and control blood sugar.Â
Her experience with Wegovy was less than ideal, as it made her constantly vomit. She also lost all her energy while taking Ozempic, and could barely get out of bed to play with her son on some days. âI lost 30 pounds so quick. I looked great, and I couldnât lift my head off the pillow, so whatâs the point?â she said on The Howard Stern Show.
Her doctors settled on Mounjaro and hormone replacement therapy for her perimenopause. âMy hair is fuller, my skin is better, I have more energyâŠSo thatâs been great, and Mounjaroâs been great,â she said in a social media video.Â
âAnd look, itâs not covered by insurance unless you have diabetes or like severe obesity, which most of the internet thinks I have,â she quipped. âBut Iâm having a really good experience with it, and I wanted to keep it real with you about that.â
