2026 is already shaping up to be a big year for Zendaya and Tom Holland.
The couple are not only leading several high-profile films both already in and coming to theatres this year, but are also celebrating their lives as newlyweds.
Tom, 30, and Zendaya, 29, have been publicly dating since 2021, confirming their engagement in early 2025 with a massive ring sighting at the Golden Globes, and secretly tying the knot earlier this year.
While the pair have remained steadfast in their desire for privacy, Zendaya’s longtime stylist Law Roach hinted at their private nuptials, with Tom finally confirming the same during a recent interview with Esquire.
Their latest photos
To that end, the couple very rarely share photos of each other on social media, but Zendaya broke that streak with an adorable selfie from a recent Spider-Man: Brand New Day premiere photocall in Rome.
Their first photo together shared on social media since the wedding, in the snap, Tom sweetly kissed his wife’s head while she smiled for the camera. “Just jumping on to saying hi from our stop in Rome,” she captioned the post, which featured other photos from the red carpet.
Fans immediately latched on to the rare display of Tom and Zendaya PDA, leaving comments like: “The selfie awww so cute,” and: “We LOVEEEEEEE,” plus: “The last pic already broke the internet,” as well as: “Ugh YALL ARE PERFECT.”
Shortly after, Tom took to his own Instagram page with photos from the very same event, kicking off with a picture of him and Zendaya hand-in-hand while on the carpet. “Nowhere quite like Rome. I absolutely love it here. Spider-Man Brand New Day in theatres 29 July,” he captioned his own photo set.
Confirming the wedding
During his conversation with Esquire, the Spider-Man star, who will also appear opposite his wife in Christopher Nolan’s highly-anticipated epic The Odyssey, spoke about the response he’d received from his family specifically to the AI-generated images that began circulating on social media of their supposed wedding ceremony.
He revealed that his grandmother had actually contacted him thinking she wasn’t invited, and when asked whether anyone else in the family had the same reaction, he just replied: “No, because they were all there,” confirming that there was, in fact, a wedding. “That’s all you’ll get on that,” he added.
“I found my person”
He did, however, open up more freely about how he and the Euphoria star rely on each other for support in this crazy industry. “Our business can present very stressful situations and it’s really nice to have a bedrock of a relationship that will stand the test of time.”
“We can support each other in ways that only we can, because only we understand really what it’s like to live this life, and I think that is such a luxury, because I just don’t understand how I would be able to have anything like that with anyone else,” Tom continued.
“So, for me, I found my person. She’s my best friend, and I’m the happiest I have ever been when I’m with her, but I have also never felt so supported and safe, ever. Period.”
