Wonder Woman star, 74, is ageless in head-turning bathtub photo

Wonder Woman star Lynda Carter stunned fans with her ageless appearance in a behind-the-scenes look at her upcoming project, Super Troopers 3, in which she stars as Governor Jessman.

The 74-year-old looked so youthful as she sat in a bubble bath, her brunette locks pulled into a chic up-do and a martini by her side. Lynda had a wide smile on her face in the shot, and followed it up with a photo of her in a dressing gown posing with her co-star and crew members.

Fan frenzy

“@supertroopers Ride Again!!!” she began in the caption. “Follow them and us (returning cast) for a fantastic road romp!! But…wait for it…the last scene! I’m naked in a bathtub???? Oh noooo, @jaychandrasekhar you promised not to show that!”

The actress’s devoted fans rushed to the comment section to share the love, with one writing: “My God, is she getting younger?!” while another added: “You’re still a stunner.”

“You look amazing!! You don’t age!!” said a third, while another chimed in: “I truly thought this was a still from a Wonder Woman episode. Lynda is timeless.”

Lynda, who previously appeared in 2001’s Super Troopers and its 2018 sequel, is best known for her portrayal of Wonder Woman from 1975 to 1979 in the hit TV series of the same name. She made a cameo appearance in the 2020 flick Wonder Woman 1984, in which Gal Gadot portrayed the famous superhero.  

Ageless appearance

Lynda seems to have barely aged a day since she first appeared on our screens, and credited her hair and makeup team for helping her look so youthful.  

“That outcome is spending time in a chair with some really good people doing your hair and makeup,” she explained to People. “Then having somebody dress you, that has got something to do with it.”

She continued: “Actors and celebrities always look so great when they’re on the red carpet, but when you see them in real life, they just look like a regular person with no makeup and their crummy clothes on. Everybody looks the same when they’re not all dressed up.”

“If everyone did a three-hour makeover before they left the house, then they’d all look amazing,” Lynda quipped. “What I’m trying to say is, there’s a lot of effort behind those pictures. Don’t think they walk out the door looking like that!”

A natural beauty

The mother of two added that she had never gone under the knife and instead preferred to age naturally. “People still recognize me all the time as Wonder Woman,” she said. “I don’t know that I’ve changed too dramatically. I don’t cut my face, so I probably look just myself, but older. And the reason I’ve never had any facial surgery is just because I’m afraid. It’s scary, because we’ve all seen some bad ones.”

When she’s not working onscreen, Lynda is busy raising money for the Translational Genomics Research Institute’s work on curing cancer. Her husband, Robert Altman, passed away from secondary acute myeloid leukemia in 2021.
