Wonder Woman star Lynda Carter stunned fans with her ageless appearance in a behind-the-scenes look at her upcoming project, Super Troopers 3, in which she stars as Governor Jessman.
The 74-year-old looked so youthful as she sat in a bubble bath, her brunette locks pulled into a chic up-do and a martini by her side. Lynda had a wide smile on her face in the shot, and followed it up with a photo of her in a dressing gown posing with her co-star and crew members.
Fan frenzy
â@supertroopers Ride Again!!!â she began in the caption. âFollow them and us (returning cast) for a fantastic road romp!! ButâŠwait for itâŠthe last scene! Iâm naked in a bathtub???? Oh noooo, @jaychandrasekhar you promised not to show that!â
The actressâs devoted fans rushed to the comment section to share the love, with one writing: âMy God, is she getting younger?!â while another added: âYouâre still a stunner.â
âYou look amazing!! You donât age!!â said a third, while another chimed in: âI truly thought this was a still from a Wonder Woman episode. Lynda is timeless.â
Lynda, who previously appeared in 2001âs Super Troopers and its 2018 sequel, is best known for her portrayal of Wonder Woman from 1975 to 1979 in the hit TV series of the same name. She made a cameo appearance in the 2020 flick Wonder Woman 1984, in which Gal Gadot portrayed the famous superhero. Â
Ageless appearance
Lynda seems to have barely aged a day since she first appeared on our screens, and credited her hair and makeup team for helping her look so youthful. Â
âThat outcome is spending time in a chair with some really good people doing your hair and makeup,â she explained to People. âThen having somebody dress you, that has got something to do with it.â
She continued: âActors and celebrities always look so great when theyâre on the red carpet, but when you see them in real life, they just look like a regular person with no makeup and their crummy clothes on. Everybody looks the same when theyâre not all dressed up.â
âIf everyone did a three-hour makeover before they left the house, then theyâd all look amazing,â Lynda quipped. âWhat Iâm trying to say is, thereâs a lot of effort behind those pictures. Donât think they walk out the door looking like that!â
A natural beauty
The mother of two added that she had never gone under the knife and instead preferred to age naturally. âPeople still recognize me all the time as Wonder Woman,â she said. âI donât know that Iâve changed too dramatically. I donât cut my face, so I probably look just myself, but older. And the reason Iâve never had any facial surgery is just because Iâm afraid. Itâs scary, because weâve all seen some bad ones.â
When sheâs not working onscreen, Lynda is busy raising money for the Translational Genomics Research Instituteâs work on curing cancer. Her husband, Robert Altman, passed away from secondary acute myeloid leukemia in 2021.
