A beautiful day in the trailer park.
Tom Hanksâ son Chet Hanks has been living in an RV since ditching Hollywood for a county music career in Nashville.
The 35-year-old explained to âTonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallonâ viewers last week that he âdidnât want to get an apartmentâ when he moved to Tennessee because he had âjust ⊠furnishedâ a Los Angeles condo.
âI didnât want to do that again,â the singer said during the April 29 interview, noting that the rental homes he stayed in at first got âreally oldâ really quickly.

He called the move âeasyâ and âinexpensive,â telling his followers, âThese things arenât fâking expensive. This sât is cheap as fâk. I got it for 30 grand. Itâs a 2025. I put four grand on it, and my rent is 400 bucks a month.â
As for those âbrainwashed by the whole hustle culture,â Chet advised them to âstop, pause and think [about] what it is that [they] really even like.â
He asked, âWhatâs the fâking dream? To drive a Rolls Royce? ⊠Those are fâking things. living your dream is a verb not a fâking noun.â
This is a developing storyâŠ
