Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift reportedly decided to pivot away from holding their forthcoming wedding in Rhode Island for security reasons.

“Taylor and Travis really wanted their wedding in Rhode Island, and June 13 was the date, but security wouldn’t have worked because it could get out of hand with that kind of scale of an event,” a source told Us Weekly.

“Ocean House [in Westerly] was planned at one point, and then plans changed to New York,” the insider added.

The “Bad Blood” singer’s security “had to assess all the venues to see what made sense,” the source told the outlet.

“Rhode Island wasn’t great because the nature of the access and the perimeters were too difficult to secure,” the insider added.

“So the main issue with Rhode Island ended up being security.”

The source told Us Weekly: “Everything was being planned in Rhode Island. And so many people wanted to come that plans had to change because it became bigger.”

Page Six has reached out to both Swift and Kelce’s reps for comment but did not immediately hear back.

As Page Six exclusively reported, Swift and the Kansas City Chiefs star, both 36, will exchange vows at Madison Square Garden in New York City on July 3.

“Everyone’s been sworn to secrecy,” one source told us.

Karlie Kloss, Zoë Kravitz, Ed Sheeran, the Haim sisters, Suki Waterhouse, Gigi Hadid and Selena Gomez are among the stars who have reportedly snagged invites to the upcoming nuptials.

Page Six exclusively reported that Stevie Nicks and Tim McGraw are set to perform at the star-studded nuptials — will may turn out to be bigger than the Met Gala.

We also reported that the pop star will have multiple outfit changes during her highly anticipated wedding celebration to Kelce.

To keep their ceremony safe and private, the couple filed a permit, asking for street closures around The Garden and for a public tent to be set up outside the venue.
