Why Katie Holmes hasn’t introduced daughter Suri to new boyfriend Jason Bard Yarmosky

Katie Holmes may have found romance again, but she and new boyfriend Jason Bard Yarmosky are in no rush to take the next step.

“Things are still pretty new between Katie and Jason, and they’re intentionally taking it slow. They haven’t been introduced to other’s families or done any of that yet,” a source exclusively told Page Six, explaining why the “Dawson’s Creek” alum’s new beau has yet to meet her daughter, Suri Cruise, 20.

“Right now, they’re just enjoying spending time together,” the insider said. There haven’t been any major steps in the relationship yet, they’re still in the dating phase for now. They’re happy taking things as they come and seeing where it goes.”

Romance rumors surrounding Holmes, 47, and Yarmosky intensified this week after Page Six obtained photos of the pair looking smitten during a dinner date in New York City Tuesday.

The duo couldn’t keep their hands off each other, wrapping their arms around each other as they strolled through Manhattan.

The outing came just days after an eyewitness told People the actress and the artist had been spotted holding hands in the Hamptons following a screening of Olivia Wilde’s new film, “The Invite,” and an after-party at The Boat House in East Hampton.

“Jason has a calming presence and he makes Katie feel safe and comfortable, which is important to her,” our source said. “She’s a fan of his work and really admires what he does as an artist.”

Yarmosky, born in 1987, has an extensive background as an artist starting from when he was young, with his grandparents, Elaine and Leonard Bard, being the subject of several of his portraits.

The New York native, who graduated with a bachelor of fine arts degree from the School of Visual Arts in 2010, describes his art as sending the message “that humor and imagination persist even in the face of loss,” according to his website.

According to Page Six’s insider, “A lot of Jason’s pieces are inspired by his grandparents, and there’s a warmth and humor to them that Katie really enjoys.”

Despite their nearly 10-year gap, the “Batman Begins” star has no concerns about the age difference.

“The fact that Jason is younger than Katie doesn’t bother her at all. She doesn’t mind the age difference, and it hasn’t been a factor in their relationship whatsoever,” our source explained.

Representatives for Holmes and Yarmosky did not immediately respond to Page Six’s requests for comment.

According to TMZ, Holmes and Yarmosky first met at a Tribeca Festival dinner in New York City in June.

While Yarmosky’s dating history is not known, Holmes’ last public romance was with Bobby Wooten III in 2022.

Before dating the musician, she was romantically linked to restaurateur Emilio Vitolo Jr. in 2020.

The actress and Jamie Foxx — who had been together since 2013 — split in 2019, a few weeks after showcasing their romance on the Met Gala red carpet.
