David Beckham was supported by his family as they headed to Miami for the opening of the new Inter Miami Stadium, named the Nu Stadium, which cost $750 million. The Beckham patriarch was seen with wife Victoria Beckham, cutting a sharp figure in a tailored navy suit paired with a crisp white shirt and striped tie, complete with a crest detail on his blazer. He finished the polished look with sleek black dress shoes, while his signature tattoos peeked out from beneath his sleeves.
Victoria complemented him perfectly in an effortlessly chic all-white ensemble, opting for a relaxed yet refined suit featuring wide-leg trousers, a structured blazer and a plunging top underneath. She elevated the monochrome look with pointed heels and her signature softly waved hair, keeping her makeup fresh and understated for a modern, minimalist finish.
Also present to support him were sons Romeo and Cruz and daughter Harper as the stadium marked its grand opening with a performance of the American national anthem by Marc Anthony, who is a close friend of the family. Romeo and Cruz were also joined by their respective partners, Kim Turnbull and Jackie Apostel. Victoria shared a reel which showed glimpses of their children, captioned: “I couldn’t be prouder… I love you @davidbeckham you inspire us all every day.” She also tagged Inter Miami CF on the reel.
However, despite the entire family being out in Miami, one member continued to be strikingly absent, that being David and Victoria’s eldest son, Brooklyn. Although Miami is only 3,000 miles away from Brooklyn’s home in Los Angeles, he didn’t make the trip to celebrate with his family.
The eldest Beckham child has been estranged from his family for a while now, and in January, he set out his reasons why in an explosive statement. In his statement, he accused members of his family of attempting to ruin his relationship with wife Nicola Peltz-Beckham, and highlighted an instance at his wedding where he claimed his mother danced “inappropriately” on him.
Guests at the wedding have indicated that Marc, who is performing at the opening, was partially to blame for the moment. During an appearance on This Morning, DJ Fat Tony explained: “Marc then asks the most beautiful woman in the room to come to the stage, and it’s Victoria.
“Of course, at that point, Brooklyn is devastated. Nicola leaves the room, crying her eyes out.”
Marc dismissed the claims in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, saying: “I have nothing to say about what’s happening with the family. They’re a wonderful, wonderful family. I’ve known them since before the kids were born. I’m godfather to Cruz. I’m really close to the family. But I have nothing to say about what happened there.”
He added: “It’s extremely unfortunate how it’s playing out — but [how it’s playing out] is hardly the truth.”

Previous look at the stadium
Ahead of the event, David had given fans a glimpse inside the stadium, which will have a capacity of 26,700, as he posed inside. In one image, he could be seen walking the pitch, while another photo saw the footballing icon greeting members of the Inter Miami team.
In his caption, he posted: “So exciting to see our players and fans together in @miafreedompark for the first time. The open training session was great… bring on Saturday now. @intermiamicf.”
Members of the Beckham family showed their support, with Romeo posting a pair of heart emojis, while David’s mum, Sandra, commented: “So proud, ground looks amazing.”
