Tom Sandoval‘s romance with Victoria Lee Robinson has not been immune to its fair share of public scandals.
The couple confirmed their relationship in February 2024, nearly a year after Sandoval became infamous for cheating on now-ex-girlfriend Ariana Madix with their Vanderpump Rules costar Rachel “Raquel” Leviss.
Sandoval used the controversy to reflect on his approach to relationships.
“One thing that really kept me hanging on [to my affair with Raquel] was the insecurity I had in myself,” he said on his “Everybody Loves Tom” podcast in December 2023. “I felt like. ‘Oh, my gosh, I can’t lose this other person because I’ll never get this.’ I had such an insecurity with myself that I felt if I let this go, it will never happen again. You can [find that again]. And banking on that is a much safer bet than staying and doing and living in that.”
Two months later, Sandoval and Robinson became Instagram official. Sandoval also offered a glimpse into what brought him and Robinson together after being friends in the past.
“We seem to be very similar in a lot of ways. We are both spontaneous and adventurous. We push it to the max sometimes but we both like to do things like that,” Sandoval noted on the “Billie and the Kid” podcast in February 2024. “It is funny because her dad is sick and she wasn’t feeling well so I already had soup sent to her house. And she had flowers sent to mine for Billie.”

February 2024
After sparking romance rumors, Sandoval went public with Robinson when he shared an Instagram photo of her kissing him on the shoulder. Robinson also uploaded her own snap of the pair cuddling while enjoying a night out together.
“This week, my addiction of the week is definitely my friend Victoria that I have been hanging out with. She’s definitely super awesome and she’s one of the sweetest people,” Sandoval shared on the “Billie and the Kid” podcast in February. “Obviously I have known her for a really long time, but we went on our first date last night.”
Sandoval praised Robinson’s sweet nature, adding, “That s— turns me on so much. Sweet, nice people like that. … She is a model, she works a lot and she is very successful. She does well for herself but she is also very humble and really cool. She is just a very sweet, thoughtful person.”
April 2024
Sandoval was asked about the rumors that Robinson previously dated Leonardo DiCaprio during an April episode of the Vanderpump Rules After Show.
“I think they dated very briefly,” Sandoval shared before throwing some shade at DiCaprio’s habit of dating younger women. “Maybe she aged out or something.”
Sandoval’s comment referenced DiCaprio’s high-profile love life and the age gap between the actor and some of his ex-girlfriends, including Bar Refaeli, Blake Lively, Toni Garrn, Nina Agdal and Kelly Rohrbach. DiCaprio also notably dated Camila Morrone, who was 23 years his junior.
May 2024
Bravo fans pointed out in May that Sandoval and Robinson allegedly no longer followed each other on Instagram. They rectified the situation that same month as rumors started to swirl about their relationship status.
Sandoval also shared a photo via Instagram of him pretending to bite Robinson’s breast, writing, “Damn baby.”
June 2024
Robinson initially got a stamp of approval from Sandoval’s friend Billie Lee. The friendship subsequently fell apart after Lee blamed Robinson for a falling out between her and Sandoval.
“The fighting is constant. It’s the most toxic relationship I’ve ever seen in my life. I literally would cry,” Lee said on her podcast. “And that was the situation where I felt I could no longer be friends with both of them. Because it was so toxic. I was feeling so much anxiety. And then I also was just feeling uncomfortable being in a house [with them].”
Lee accused Robinson of not looking out for Sandoval.
“The thing is Tom was sober for a very long time. When he met Victoria, he started drinking again. And I noticed a lot of alarming things,” she claimed. “Tom and I didn’t really hang out a lot one-on-one. That was fine with me. I’m so happy that they’re together.”
The former Vanderpump Rules star specifically recalled a situation when Robinson kept “calling and calling and calling” when Lee was over at Sandoval’s house.
“He had to go upstairs. They got into a fight. He came downstairs and he said, ‘She thinks that we’re going to sleep together tonight.’ And I’m like, ‘What?’” Lee continued. “Anyone dating Tom — and I even told Tom this — they have to be somewhat thirsty and a little desperate in a way. She would say, ‘I need to break up with Tom.’”
Sandoval couldn’t speak out because he was filming season 3 of The Traitors at the time. Robinson, however, offered her side of the story with help from Sandoval’s friend Kyle Chan. The duo appeared on a June episode of the “Up and Adam!” podcast where they accused Lee of creating distance between Sandoval and his loved ones.
“I always thought she was very loyal. She’s always been that friend that’s like, ‘I got your back.’ But then I feel like somewhere during this process, the love that she had for Tom has shifted a little bit different,” Chan alleged. “So it became a very selfish process. Instead of protecting him because we’re really good friends. But then it turns into, I’m protecting him, he’s mine. I feel like it shifted a little bit.”
In response, Lee denied Chan and Robinson’s claims in the live podcast’s comments section. Sandoval stepped in later to show support for his girlfriend and best friend.
“Billie Lee’s false claims toward Victoria Lee Robinson and Kyle Chan were designed to damage our friendships and relationships,” he wrote via Instagram Stories. “Victoria, Kyle and I all heard her on speaker phone while she made those accusations. They were designed to isolate me from my close friends for ulterior motives.”
He concluded: “It is not a coincidence that she is doing this while I am out of the country and she is on tour. I will be addressing everything when I am back.”
July 2024
Sandoval and Robinson would often use their social media platforms to document their relationship moments. But after Sandoval filed a lawsuit against Madix, he and his girlfriend deactivated their accounts.
Sandoval returned to Instagram to clarify that he didn’t know he was suing Madix. He then removed attorney Matt Geragos from his legal team.
“Late Tuesday afternoon, my attorney, Matt Geragos, whose advice I trusted, called me about the Cross-Complaint in the lawsuit against myself and Ariana,” Sandoval wrote via Instagram at the time. “He assured me that the action was customary and strictly preventative in these types of lawsuits and urged me to agree to it. The words ‘New Lawsuit’ or ‘Suing’ were not articulated to me. I should’ve done more of my due diligence on the matter.”
He added: “In no way am I suing Ariana. The action against Ariana brought on my behalf is being removed. I had no ill will or vindictiveness toward Ariana,” he continued. “Now, by removing both the Cross-Complaint and the attorney who recommended it, I hope to get through this case quickly, so that Ariana and I can both finally MOVE ON with our lives.”
October 2024
Robinson exclusively spoke to Us Weekly about living with Sandoval after being asked about appearing on Vanderpump Rules. (Bravo confirmed one month later that Vanderpump Rules would be returning for season 12 with an entirely new cast.)
“I don’t know about the show. I mean, I do and I don’t. I’ve never been on it,” Robinson told Us about potentially joining the hit Bravo series. “Obviously, I feel like it would be kind of hard to dodge it, considering we are about to move in together. We’re pretty serious, so it’s hard [to avoid it]. Who knows?”
Sandoval, meanwhile, took to his podcast in October to confirm he and Madix put their house “on the market,” saying, “[We are] selling the house, getting it ready. And Victoria and I are moving in together.”
December 2024
Robinson surprised her followers when she appeared to insinuate that Sandoval cheated on her.
“Wow … you guys were right. Tiger never changes its stripes,” she wrote via Instagram. “He loves the best friends apparently. I feel like a fool. Completely heartbroken.” While Sandoval didn’t respond to Robinson’s allegations, he went on Instagram Live on Monday.
“Victoria is calling me,” Sandoval, noted in a clip circulating on social media. “Definitely made a big mistake earlier.”
Robinson walked back her claims hours later.
“I would like to sincerely apologize for my previous post. I had a true misjudgment in a situation. Tom did not do anything,” she wrote via Instagram Story. “From my own personal trauma and experiences hearing false accusations about him all the time clouded my judgment and got the best of me.”
She added: “Please respect him and know he’s actually been the most supportive partner. The internet can be harsh sometimes and I’m learning how to block out the noise.”
Later that month, Sandoval brought Robinson home to Missouri for the holidays.
November 2025
Video was released of Robinson seemingly getting into a heated exchange with Sandoval at BravoCon. Summer House star Lindsay Hubbard appeared to get involved, according to the clip shared online at the time.
When asked about the apparent incident months later, both Sandoval and Hubbard had different accounts of what went down.
“It was very inappropriate,” Sandoval claimed during a March 2026 Watch What Happens Live appearance. “She starts asking about our relationship, me and Victoria’s. And Victoria walks up and she’s like, ‘Hey, excuse me. Who are you?’ and Lindsay looks at her and she’s like, ‘Wait, wait, you don’t know who I am?’ and Victoria’s like, ‘No, I have no idea who you are.’”
He added, “I shouldn’t have gotten up. I shouldn’t have walked away [with Hubbard]. It just was strange. She’s talking about our relationship.”
Hubbard told Us in response that was “not at all what happened” during their conversation.
“But are we really surprised?” she added. “Let’s consider the source here.”
June 2026
Us confirmed that Sandoval filed a restraining order against Robinson and her father, claiming they subjected him to “verbal and physical abuse” stemming from an altercation that took place with them both. Sandoval claimed that the trio were having an argument when he discovered Robinson was allegedly filming him. Her dad allegedly became aggressive and Sandoval locked himself in a room. He claimed Robinson attacked him.
Video footage of the alleged altercation, shared via Reddit, showed Sandoval pushing Robinson’s dad into a firepit amid the argument.
June 2026
A source confirmed to Us that Sandoval and Robinson had broken up.
“Tom has endured this abuse for many months. For the most part, Tom has been supporting Victoria and her dad as Tom has been paying the rent and utilities,” the insider alleged. “Victoria’s dad has been living in the house for free. He put up with far too much for too long.”
