Tom Brady and Bridget Moynahan put the past aside to celebrate a very special family milestone this weekend.
Nineteen years after ending their relationship, the former couple reunited for their son Jack Brady’s high school graduation, with Tom sharing a series of heartwarming family photographs from the ceremony on social media.
The proud father, 48, posted images from the graduation that included a rare photo of himself and Bridget standing together on either side of their 18-year-old son, who was dressed in a maroon cap and gown.
“One of the proudest days of my life, watching Jack walk across the stage, and graduate into the next chapter of what’s already an impressive life,” Tom wrote alongside the photographs.
“You are an amazing son, brother, grandson, nephew, and friend amongst many other things.”
The NFL legend continued his tribute by praising Jack’s character away from the spotlight.
“What makes me the happiest and most proud is seeing the young man you are becoming. The love you give our family, and the fact that you still let me win in 1v1 every once in a while.”
Tom concluded: “Whatever you chase next we know you’ll find success in. Be kind. Be yourself. And know your family and friends are always right behind you cheering the loudest because you do the same for everybody else! We love you.”
Other photos from the celebration showed Jack posing alongside his half-siblings Benjamin, 16, and Vivian, 13, whom Tom shares with ex-wife Gisele Bündchen.
The family gathering marked a significant moment for Tom and Bridget, whose relationship began in 2004 before they separated in late 2006 after three years together.
At the time, representatives confirmed the split had been amicable, but the story took an unexpected turn just months later when it emerged that Bridget was expecting the couple’s first child.
By then, Tom had already begun dating Gisele, whom he would later marry in 2009.
Over the years, both Tom and Bridget have spoken openly about their successful co-parenting relationship.
In a 2019 interview with People, Bridget praised the support system surrounding their son.
“We both found partners that not only supported us in raising that child, but also loved our child as if he was their own. I don’t think you can ask for more than that. My son is surrounded by love and grandparents that go on forever, and it’s all good.”
