More like Tay Story.
Taylor Swift was the guest of honor at the âToy Story 5â world premiere at Los Angelesâ Dolby Theatre on Tuesday, looking all dolled up in an off-the-shoulder embellished Erdem dress.
Hailing from designer Erdem Moraliogluâs fall 2026 collection, the songwriterâs mini featured a corseted bodice, a pannier skirt and romantic bows at the arms.
In addition to her signature red lip, Swift finished her premiere look with a single looped side braid.
The 14-time Grammy winner contributed a new original song to the Pixar sequel, âI Knew It, I Knew You.â
Billed by Disney as âa return to Taylor Swiftâs country roots,â the tune is inspired by the ârootinâ tootinâ cowgirl Jessieâs ongoing journeyâ in the film franchise, and was co-written and co-produced with longtime Swift collaborator Jack Antonoff.
âWriting this song felt like a musical departure and coming home at the same time. Creating something for Jessie was a new challenge and also felt like second nature all at once,â she wrote on Instagram on June 5, the songâs release date.
â[Antonoff and I] wrote this with so much adoration for these characters that made us laugh and helped us learn lessons and think outside the backyard all throughout our childhoods.â
The âCruel Summerâ songstress even seemed to tease a new country-tinged style era to match her latest projectâs sound, posing for promotional photos in rustic wide-leg pants, an embroidered patchwork jacket and the curly hair thatâs become closely associated with her 2006 debut album.
The floral sundress she sported in another snap announcing âI Knew It, I Knew Youâ even reminded many fans of Swiftâs laid-back look from her âTim McGrawâ single artwork.
Could âTaylor Swift (Taylorâs Version)â be the next music release on the superstarâs schedule? One thingâs for sure: Sheâs already dressing the part.
