Supernatural star Carrie Ann Fleming has died aged 51 after complications from breast cancer. Carrie’s co-star Jim Beaver confirmed the sad news to Variety.
Jim, who played Carrie’s husband on the show later took to social media to grieve his “soulmate”.
“We ran lines of dialog together in my trailer and talked for hours that first day, and the electricity between us was practically visible,” he wrote.
“She was a powerhouse of vitality and goodwill and amazingly good nature, with a rapturous laugh and an utterly adorable personality that didn’t seem to have an off switch.”
Carrie is survived by her only child and daughter Madelyn Rose who she shared with ex-husband Ronald James McConaghy.
The actress made her breakthrough in Happy Gilmore before starring in Stargate SG-1, Master of Horrors and Smallville.

Fans took to social media to mourn her death. “Carrie Anne Fleming was Jenifer in Dario Argento’s episode of Masters of Horror. Way too young to pass on and my heart goes out to her family,” wrote one fan.
“I’ll always remember Carrie Anne Fleming as the titular Jenifer in that episode of Masters of Horror. Sad to hear of her passing. 2026 has been awful for sad goodbyes,” wrote another.

Carrie was born in Digby, Nova Scotia and attended Mount Douglas Senior Secondary in Victoria, B.C.
She was in a relationship with EA Game Producer Caedmon Somers at the time of her death.
