Suki Waterhouse reveals Taylor Swift’s wedding will be ‘amazing’ as new details emerge

Supermodel and singer Suki Waterhouse shared rare insight into her friend Taylor Swift’s upcoming wedding to NFL star Travis Kelce, as fans scramble for any details about the highly anticipated nuptials. 

The 34-year-old told Variety that Taylor and Travis’ nuptials “will be amazing”, and that she wanted to steal ideas for her own wedding to fiancé Robert Pattinson. “I’m gonna go to Taylor’s wedding, and maybe I’ll get some inspiration,” she declared. “Nothing is scarier than the actual planning, right?”

Suki has been close friends with Taylor for a decade and opened for the star at her Wembley Stadium Eras Tour stop in 2024. “The coolest thing about her is she gives other artists these insane opportunities that really change people’s lives,” the mother of one shared. 

“Knowing her as a friend, she’s actually been through so much. And I think the thing I always see in her is how she pulls herself through every time, and how everything that’s ever happened to her becomes another piece of art that becomes part of the legacy. That’s so inspiring – that’s the artist that you want to be.”

Taylor previously shared with Ssense how in awe she was of Suki and her way of looking at the world. “When we hang out, I often come away wondering how someone can be simultaneously spontaneous and free – and also preternaturally wise,” the blonde beauty said. 

“She is the wildest person I know who I would also trust to keep any secret.”

While details of Taylor and Travis’ big day have been kept under lock and key, Kansas City Chiefs coach Andy Reid teased to 96.5’s The Drive that he planned to attend the couple’s wedding. “Well, I probably have [gotten an invite]…and if I don’t outgrow my tuxedo before then, I’m going,” he said.

Taylor shared insight into her wedding planning on The Graham Norton Show, revealing that the guest list was ever-growing. “It’s huge,” she said. “I’m so excited about it. I know it’s going to be fun to plan because I think the only stressful weddings are when you have a small amount, and people are on the bubble.”

“You have to evaluate or assess your relationship with them to see if they should be there – I’m not gonna do that,” the 36-year-old quipped. “I’m going to invite everyone I’ve ever talked to.”

Rumors abound that the wedding would take place in Rhode Island on June 13, either at her lavish $17 million mansion, or at the nearby Ocean House resort, but this was quickly debunked.

Tara Guérard, the venue’s wedding planner, replied to a fan in an Instagram comment, writing: “I am the wedding planner for June 13th at the Ocean House in Rhode Island! Sorry to let you all know, Taylor is not my bride this weekend! Boo! Kindest, @taraguerard,” she wrote. 

Fans have also speculated that the duo would tie the knot over the Fourth of July weekend in New York City. Taylor and Travis began dating in 2023, and the Chiefs tight end popped the question in August 2025. “Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married,” they wrote in a joint Instagram post.
