Stephen Curry and Ayesha Curry have been married since 2011, so they know a thing or two about what it takes to maintain a bond.
The pair have a huge family and have welcomed four children into the world together, including Riley, born in 2012, Ryan, born in 2015, Canon, born in 2018 and Caius, born in 2024.
Their successful marriage didn’t come without challenging moments, being that Stephen has a jam-packed career as a professional basketball player.
Stephen gave Ayesha her flowers during a recent interview with The Hollywood Reporter, as he expressed just how much effort she puts into maintaining their family life when he’s on the road.
He revealed: “It’s absolutely crazy. The thrive-in-chaos lifestyle is a real thing. I have nine months of my year completely scheduled with 82 games in pursuit of winning championships. It’s a lot of sacrifice for her. We have four kids, and that’s a lot of responsibility. We asked for it, and it’s not a complaint.”

The athlete reflected on a time when he was mistakenly overly optimistic about Ayesha enjoying some much-needed downtime.
He recalled: “I made one of the dumbest comments in probably my third or fourth year in the league when we were experiencing our first moment of being overwhelmed. I said, ‘Well, this summer’s crazy, but next summer is going to be way more chill. It’s going to be super quiet and you’re going to have the whole summer. We’ll go wherever you want.'”
Stephen comically added: “I really meant it and believed it at the time. Every summer since has been 10 times crazier.”

The star is aware that the good comes with the bad, and in perspective, the duo have a lot more to be thankful for, rather than be resentful over.
Whenever he gets frustrated by his demanding schedule, he puts everything into perspective and focuses on the bigger picture.
The basketball pro expressed to the outlet: “But it’s the growing in life together that we enjoy. And there are amazing opportunities. What are we complaining about?”

Speaking of “amazing opportunities,” Stephen admitted that his career has surprised him in the best way possible.
Not only did he achieve his dreams of playing for the NBA, but he entered unexpected career lanes.
He revealed: “I never thought I’d act in any show, even if it was a parody of myself. I never thought I’d have a media company. I never thought I’d host the ESPYs. Everything that I do that I have fun with, I never thought that I’d be able to do. When I was grinding to be the best basketball player I could be, I never thought doors would open.”
Stephen shared: “None of that was ever on my radar. But God has a very funny sense of humor.”
