Solange Knowles and Megan Thee Stallion celebrated Memorial Day Weekend in a major way.
Both artists shared a behind the scenes look into their getaway, as they sent temperatures soaring with their eye-catching bikini-clad photos.
The “Cranes in the Sky” singer posted a carousel online featuring shots of Megan posing from behind in the shore, Solange frolicking by a beachside tree, and the stars resting and recharging while taking in the views of the ocean from their boat.
Megan donned an orange and white striped bikini, while Solange rocked an all-white two-piece, with a black bandana on her lush hair.
Solange captioned the post: “May thee light shine upon all h-town legends forever more.” The rapper shared a selfie of the pair playfully splitting out their tongues.
Fans react
Fans loved their spontaneous meetup and flocked to the comments. One person wrote: “I’m no better than a man the way I zoomed in! You look bomb.”
A second follower added: “Whew! The way Sisterhood gonna heal you errtime! Meg keep a bag stallion needed rest & rejuvenation. And Solange the healing artist Knowles will show her the way. What a gift.”
A third fan continued: “The best Disney crossover episode I’ve ever seen,” while one person wrote: “H-town dimesssss.”
The two were linked publicly for the first time when Solange watched the rapper performing “Big Ole Freak” on stage in 2019 during her Dallas concert.
Megan’s connections with Beyoncé
Solange isn’t the only person in the Knowles family that Megan is close to. In 2019 Megan also met Beyoncé for the first time during her andJay-Z’s New Year’s Eve party.
Megan recalled to Variety: “In the first five minutes of the conversation, I felt like I’ve been knowing her all my life. She treated me like family, and now I feel like I am family. We talk all the time.”
The following year, Megan put out the remix of her song “Savage” with Beyoncé, and the two performed it onstage during the Renaissance Tour in 2023.
Beyoncé posted a carousel from her concert in Houston alongside Megan and captioned it: “My H-Town sister, thank you for gracing the RENAISSANCE TOUR. Until next time.”
Soon afterwards, Megan was overcome with emotions and shared her own carousel, captioning it: “Y’all… nobody can tell me nothing else EVERRRRRRRR. BEY SAID HTOWN SISSTERRR!!! Like hello??? I LOVE YOU QUEEN @beyonce.”
The rapper’s deep love for the iconic singer didn’t end there. She also posted a video recapping her memorable weekend while expressing her gratitude.
Megan revealed: “Y’all don’t know how many times I cried this weekend. Y’all don’t understand — Beyoncé is my idol, like I genuinely love Beyoncé with my whole[expletive] heart.”
She continued: “Me and my momma are such huge fans of Beyoncé. My whole life, I was like, ‘I wanna be the rap Beyoncé,’ and to get the opportunity to go onstage with the woman that I love, the woman that is the woman of all womens…I was up with Beyoncé, y’all got me [expletive] up!”
