Morgan Fairchild showed off a different side of her style as she stepped out in Los Angeles wearing a cool rock-chick ensemble.
The 76-year-old actress was dressed in an oversized black T-shirt bearing a colourful Godzilla graphic as she walked through the city.
Morgan teamed the statement top with slim black trousers and coordinating sock-style sneakers, creating a far more casual look than the polished gowns and tailored outfits she generally wears for public appearances.
Her signature platinum-blonde hair was worn loose with plenty of volume, while dark eye makeup provided the finishing touch to her monochrome outfit. The actress accessorised with a gold watch and bracelets.
Morgan became one of television’s best-known glamour icons during the 1970s and 1980s, frequently playing wealthy, formidable and impeccably dressed women.
Born Patsy Ann McClenny in Dallas, Texas, she began her career working as Faye Dunaway’s body double on the 1967 film Bonnie and Clyde.
She later moved to New York and landed her first major television role as Jennifer Pace in the daytime soap Search for Tomorrow, appearing on the show from 1973 until 1977.
Morgan played the original Jenna Wade on Dallas before earning a Golden Globe nomination for her performance as Constance Weldon Semple Carlyle in Flamingo Road.
Her subsequent roles included modelling executive Racine in Paper Dolls and attorney Jordan Roberts in Falcon Crest. She also received an Emmy nomination for a guest appearance on Murphy Brown.
A later generation of viewers will know Morgan as Chandler Bing’s glamorous mother, Nora Tyler Bing, on Friends. She appeared in five episodes of the sitcom between 1995 and 2001.
Morgan returned to daytime television earlier this year, reprising her role as socialite Dottie on The Bold and the Beautiful after a 17-year absence.
She appeared alongside Jim J. Bullock, who returned as Serge’s brother, Joseph, for a storyline centred on a San Francisco fashion show.
Morgan has also been working on her podcast, 2 Btches from Texas, which she hosts with her younger sister, actress Cathryn Hartt.
Earlier this year, she reunited with Barbara Eden while both women were recording interviews for an upcoming documentary about their late co-star Larry Hagman.
