Should stricter laws stop paparazzi from staking out royal children’s schools?

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are facing a fresh security scare after two photographers working for a European press agency were spotted circling the perimeter of Archie and Lilibet’s new school, prompting a police investigation. 

It’s the second such incident since the family relocated the children just weeks ago, and comes with Harry’s bid for reinstated police protection still under review by RAVEC. However, there are rules in place for UK paparazzi, as they cannot photograph minors and the British press wouldn’t print pictures of Archie and Lilibet at school. The issue lies with the fact that EU counterparts do not have the same restrictions in place.
