Farrah Abraham unrecognizable after jaw surgery leaves face severely swollen

Farrah Abraham is recovering from major jaw surgery that has left her unable to speak and eating only liquids for the next several weeks.

The “Teen Mom” alum, 35, recently underwent double-disc jaw surgery after dealing with ongoing jaw issues.

Her jaw was wired shut after the procedure and severe swelling has left her face looking dramatically different.

Abraham will be unable to speak for two months and must consume her meals in liquid form through a straw, Abraham’s manager, Chrissy Johnston, told the Daily Mail.

“Farrah cannot speak because her jaw is wired shut, and her face is extremely swollen. She is in a severe amount of pain and is really struggling, both physically and mentally,” Johnston said.

“To make matters worse, she has also lost hearing in her right ear. I hope and pray that her pain eases soon and that her hearing returns to normal over time.”

Abraham appeared on her daughter Sophia’s TikTok livestream shortly after the surgery.

Since she could not speak, she held up a sign that read, “I had surgery + can’t talk. Thanks for all the gifts.”

She later addressed her recovery on Instagram Stories, writing, “I feel like Frankenstein right now.”

“Praying my face comes back in three months,” the OnlyFans model added.

Abraham had been dealing with jaw issues throughout the year and reportedly believes the problems stem from trauma related to her sexual assault case.

Abraham previously accused former Windsor, Calif., Mayor Dominic Foppoli of drugging and sexually assaulting her in Palm Beach, Fla., in March 2021. Foppoli denied the allegations.

“She believes the trauma and stress from the assault affected her nervous system and contributed to the damage she has experienced,” Johnston told the Daily Mail.

“After everything she has already endured, to now be left in excruciating pain, unable to speak or open her mouth to eat normally for months, is an enormous amount for anyone to endure. She is going through an incredibly difficult time right now,” Johnston said.

Abraham has undergone numerous cosmetic procedures over the years.

She has had three breast augmentations, rhinoplasty, a chin implant, butt injections, lip and facial fillers, and a vaginal rejuvenation procedure.
