Romeo Beckham puts on united front with dad David after brother Cruz reveals ‘hope’ of reconciliation with Brooklyn

Romeo Beckham has put on a united front with his dad, David, amid the family’s ongoing rift with his older brother, Brooklyn Beckham. The Beckham brood, including Victoria’s parents, Tony and Jackie Adams, and David’s mum, Sandra Beckham, all jetted to Paris to support Victoria’s latest fashion week collection and made time to explore the French capital together. 

Romeo shared a wholesome photo from a family lunch with his dad and grandparents in the City of Love over the weekend, which he captioned with two white heart emojis.

David shared the same photo to his own Instagram as he gushed about how “proud and astonished” they all were of Victoria’s latest design feat. The former professional footballer looked stylish in a leather jacket and sunglasses as he slung his arm around his father-in-law, Tony, and his mother, Sandra, as Romeo appeared to be the one taking the selfie outside the Parisian restaurant. 

“We are always so proud and astonished about what you achieve every single season raising the bar and continuing to live the dream that you have worked so hard for,” David wrote about his wife. 

“You and your team really are incredible and we are proud to be here to witness the beauty that you continue to bring to each collection,” he continued, adding “we love you”. Clearly touched by the message, Victoria replied with lots of red heart emojis in the comments. 

David included a photo of himself and Victoria alongside three of their children – Harper, 14, Cruz, 21, and Romeo – during the Paris Fashion Week festivities. “Thank you for always being there to support me. I love you all so much,” Victoria captioned the same photo, which included Cruz’s girlfriend, singer-songwriter Jackie Apostel, 30, which she posted to her own Instagram. 

The photo comes after his younger brother Cruz expressed hope at reconciling with their older brother Brooklyn, who is currently estranged from the family. 

Cruz shares ‘hope’ for family reconciliation

Despite the ongoing rift with Brooklyn, both Victoria and David marked their son’s 27th birthday on social media on 4 March. Brooklyn’s younger brother, Cruz, 21, also acknowledged Brooklyn on his birthday with a throwback photo from their childhood, which he captioned: “I love you.”

While out on a walk with his girlfriend, Jackie, the youngest Beckham son was asked if he had any “well-wishes” for his brother on his birthday, to which Cruz replied: “Happy birthday.” He was also asked about the chances of a reconciliation between the family in the future. “I hope to,” Cruz responded. 

Family support in Paris

Victoria’s family cheered her on in Paris for her label’s Fall/Winter 2026-2027 ready-to-wear runway show on 6 March. Her youngest son, Cruz, filmed the show from the audience and shared a snippet to his Instagram Stories, telling his mum: “You kill it every year”. Meanwhile, Romeo shared a collection of photos from the French capital to his social media, including one of just him and his mum. 

While the Beckham brood all seemed to be in Paris, Victoria and David’s eldest son, Brooklyn, and his wife, Nicola Peltz, were noticeably absent amid their ongoing estrangement from the family. In January, Brooklyn shared a scathing statement alleging his parents had “controlled” him and proclaiming that he did not want to reconcile with his family. 

The 27-year-old made several bombshell claims, including that his mother Victoria had ‘hijacked’ his first dance at his 2022 wedding to Nicola and that his parents had been “trying endlessly to ruin” his relationship with his wife since before their nuptials.
