Rocky star, 68, enjoys rare red carpet outing with wife, 30, and daughter, 24

Dolph Lundgren made a rare family appearance on the red carpet this week as he stepped out with wife Emma Krokdal and daughter Greta Lundgren at the premiere of Masters of the Universe.

The Rocky IV star, 68, looked relaxed and healthy as he posed proudly alongside his glamorous wife, 30, and his 24-year-old daughter during the special evening. The outing marked one of the few public appearances featuring both Emma and Greta together.

Dolph cut a casual yet stylish figure in a crisp white button-up shirt paired with a black leather jacket, black trousers and coordinating sneakers. The actor appeared in high spirits following his battle with lung cancer, which he revealed he had overcome in 2024.

Emma turned heads in a chic black knee-length dress adorned with an intricate gold butterfly embellishment, while Greta opted for a soft baby blue halter-neck gown teamed with metallic silver heels.

The family appearance also highlighted Dolph’s enduring romance with Emma, who is just six years older than his younger daughter and the same age as his eldest daughter, Ida Lundgren.

Despite their 38-year age gap, Dolph has repeatedly spoken about how transformative the relationship has been for him. Speaking previously to Muscle + Health, the Creed II actor admitted he had not been searching for love after splitting from longtime girlfriend Jenny Sandersson in 2017.

“I certainly didn’t have in mind to meet someone new,” he said. “I wanted to be single and have a breather from the pain and the heartache of my last relationship and then Emma came along.”

The Swedish-born actor revealed the pair first met at a gym in 2019 and quickly bonded over their shared passion for fitness, training and wellbeing. Less than a year later, he proposed to Emma during a trip to Stockholm in June 2020.

Dolph has often praised Emma’s outlook on life, explaining that many younger women are “very mature” and bringing a fresh perspective to relationships.

The couple married in 2023 and officially became American citizens together in 2024, something Dolph described as an emotional milestone.

In recent interviews, the action star has also opened up about the simple rituals that help keep their marriage strong. Speaking candidly to Fox News, Dolph revealed his unusual but heartfelt relationship rule.

“I have this new thing – I have to give her a hug, a nice big hug, 10 times a day,” he shared with a laugh. “I try to get a few before lunch so I still have some in the bank throughout the day.”

He added: “It sounds simple and a little goofy, but doing that neutralises a lot of disagreements and misunderstandings.”

The actor explained that learning how to make his partner feel loved and appreciated has become increasingly important to him over time.

“When you have disagreements, somebody wants to be right, but the other person also wants to be right,” he said. “But you have to make your partner feel good, even when you both have disagreements.”
