Robin Roberts certainly knows how to have a good time! On Friday, the GMA anchor shared a fun throwback video reminiscing about her recent vacation in Brazil.
The footage showed her dancing in a monochrome print bikini while walking along the beach promenade with her GMA co-star Sam Champion and his husband, Rubem Robierb. She captioned it: “#flashbackfriday Walking back to @samchampion & @rubemrobierb apt after enjoying a Caipirinha (or 2) on the beach. (Video courtesy of Sweet Amber).”
In the clip, Robin – who teamed her bikini with a cowboy hat and sunglasses – looked incredible, and fans were quick to comment on her toned figure, with many wanting to know her secret.
“Robin, that body, you are ageing backwards,” one fan wrote, while another commented: “Robin Roberts is proof that age has nothing to do with how good you can look if you take care of yourself… Inspiration to keep going to the gym and eat healthy for life!! Robin needs to be on the cover a magazine! 65 and looking AMAZING.” A third added: “I need Robin’s workout video.”
Robin’s vacation to Brazil
Robin went away to Brazil with her wife, Amber Laign, along with Sam and Rubem.
She had a wonderful time, and shared several posts from her trip on social media, including a selfie of the group smiling on the beach.
She wore a blue shirt and a cowboy hat with black sunglasses, while Amber stood behind her in a red and white striped swimsuit and a white trucker cap. “Thank you @rubemrobierb for showing us the many wonders of your stunning homeland #Brazil,” Robin wrote in the caption, as Rubem took to the comment section to share his appreciation for the TV personality and her wife.
“So happy to share Brazil with you both…so much more to see.”
Robin and Sam are great friends and the co-stars often spend time together with their partners outside of work.

Robin, meanwhile, married Amber on September 8, 2023, after almost two decades together. They got married in the backyard at their home in Farmington, Connecticut.

After a wonderful time in Brazil, Robin had a slightly difficult journey home due to the weather and transport issues.
She shared on social media, alongside a fun photo of her and Sam posing in the sea: “Difficult travel back to NYC…first plane had mechanical issues, then stormy weather. But thinking of all the fun we had in Rio made it totally worth it! Looking forward to being back on @goodmorningamerica tomorrow and so is @samchampion!”
