In Us Weekly‘s exclusive clip from the Sunday, March 29, episode of The Woman Who Risked Everything special, Rebekah (Alexa Davalos) talks to Isaac (Tom Mison) about hearing from God.

“I asked him to bless us and ensure his good health. I never thought he would answer,” she says. “I am not unwell, I did hear him. I still feel his words in my bones.”

Rebekah learned she will actually have two sons.

2026 is a big year for TV — but which shows do we definitely know are coming back for more seasons? Paramount+ surprised viewers by renewing Landman for a third season before season 2 came to an end. Inspired by the “Boomtown” podcast series, Landman is focused on the West Texas oil industry with a […]

“A blessing to be sure — and the reason it hasn’t been easy. They strive against one another,” she notes. “He also said that one will be stronger — and that the elder would serve the younger.”

The sneak peek transitions to show Rebekah giving birth as her midwife reveals the twins are fighting to be born first. According to the synopsis, Sunday’s episode follows Rebekah’s difficult pregnancy, with God telling her that “her older twin son will serve the younger, Isaac stands by that the older Esau is the rightful heir.”

“However, as the boys grow into men, Rebekah realizes that she must defy and deceive Isaac to fulfill God’s plan to ensure that Jacob becomes the rightful heir,” the description continues.

The Faithful: Women of the Bible is a three-part limited series that dramatizes the Book of Genesis through the perspectives of pivotal matriarchs including Sarah, Hagar, Rebekah, Leah and Rachel. Before Sunday’s episode, Davalos, 43, reflected on the meaning behind the story.

“Rebekah’s story, at its core, is one of love and loss, devotion, and tenacity — an examination of the complexities and nuances of a human life. The choices we make — how they shape our lives, the lives of those we hold dear — and in turn, the lives of those that come after us,” she exclusively told Us Weekly. “The notion of purpose — of what propels us forward. The battles we face and the inner compass that guides us through.”

She continued: “Rebekah gave me the chance to explore and inhabit not just a pivotal moment in time, but also the life of a woman over many years. The layers inside her fascinated me, and I found that aspects of all of us are reflected in her.”

The Faithful: Women of the Bible continues on Fox Sunday, March 29, at 8 p.m. ET.
