Princess Beatrice has emerged for the first time in weeks to attend her stylist’s recent baby shower, HELLO! understands.
The royal, who is the older daughter of Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor and Sarah Ferguson, resurfaced to celebrate her stylist and close friend, Olivia Buckingham, at her London home.
Olivia is credited with helping Beatrice to become one of the best-dressed in the family, and announced in February that she is expecting her first child aged 43. She was congratulated by Beatrice’s husband, Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, at the time.
On Thursday, the mother-to-be took to Instagram to share a series of snaps from her close-knit baby shower, featuring notable guests such as Poppy Delevingne and socialite Nicky Hilton.
HELLO! understands that Princess Beatrice, 37, was also in attendance, though she was not pictured.
It shows that her friends have remained by her side during difficult times and increased scrutiny after Andrew was arrested in February.
Wearing a stunning baby blue dress, Olivia wrote on Instagram: “I’m still feeling all the feels from the most amazing #BabyShower and an enormous sense of gratitude for what can only be described as being inside a giant love bubble. Thank you for all the love and incredible support from my friends and family near and far.”
Gorgeous pictures showed a two-tiered cake decorated with ribbons and icing, customised biscuits, and an elegantly decorated table top, all with shades of blue hinting that she will be welcoming a baby boy.
When was the last time Beatrice was seen?
Princess Beatrice and her husband Edo were last pictured in March, enjoying a meal at the Eel Sushi Bar in Notting Hill, following rumours of marriage troubles.
They appeared cheery as they dined on Talbot Road and were seen getting picked up in an electric Porsche afterwards.
Beatrice and Edo are parents to Sienna, four, and Athena, one. Beatrice is also step-mother to Wolfie, from Edo’s previous relationship with architect Dara Huang.

Eugenie was seen in the background of photographs shared by socialite Jazzy de Lisser, chatting to guests and wearing an elegant black gown with fringe detailing.
Though both appearances were very low-key, it could be a hint that the sisters are beginning to think about a return to public life.
