Donald Trump Jr. and Bettina Anderson are husband and wife! The pair, who are expected to hold their official wedding ceremony in the Bahamas on May 23, made it official on Thursday, May 21, 2026, with a low-key ceremony at Bettina’s twin sister Kristina’s home in West Palm Beach.
A Florida marriage application, with signatures from Don Jr., 48, and Bettina, 39, has been obtained by HELLO! and reveals that the ceremony was officiated by Bettina’s brother-in-law, real estate attorney Bradley McPherson.
HELLO! has contacted the pair for comment.
It is unclear if any of Don Jr’s children were in attendance. It is also unclear if Don Jr’s father, President Donald Trump, knew about the ceremony.
On Friday May 22, the president confirmed that he would not be attending the Bahamas wedding, tweeting: “While I very much wanted to be with my son, Don Jr., and the newest member of the Trump Family, his soon to be wife, Bettina, circumstances pertaining to Government, and my love for the United States of America, do not allow me to do so.”
© Getty ImagesEarlier in the day, he held a press conference in the Oval Office where he spoke only of the Bahamas event, sharing that although his son would “like” his father to be there, it was “not good timing”.
“I said, ‘This is not good timing for me. I have a thing called Iran and other things.’ That’s one I can’t win on. If I do attend I get killed, if I don’t attend I get killed. He’s a person I’ve known for a long time and hopefully they’re going to have a great marriage,” Trump said.

Don Jr. was married for 12 years to ex-wife Vanessa Trump, who filed for divorce from 48-year-old in 2018. They share five children: Kai, Donald III, Tristan, Spencer, and Chloe.
Don Jr. dated Kimberly Guilfoyle for six years, with the couple getting engaged in 2020. They never announced their separation, with rumors emerging when Don Jr and Bettina were first pictured together enjoying brunch in August 2024.
