Aubrey Plaza stepped out with partner Christopher Abbott on Broadway just days after her pregnancy was revealed.
Plaza, 41, and Abbott, 40, jointly attended the afterparty following the opening night of his Broadway play Death of a Salesman on Thursday, April 9. The couple were all smiles at Katz’s Deli in New York City.
Abbott stars as Biff Loman in the Broadway revival of Arthur Miller‘s famous play, which is staged at the Winter Garden Theatre.
The outing comes less than one week after Plaza’s rep confirmed to People on Tuesday, April 7, that she and Abbott are expecting baby No. 1.
A source told the outlet that the baby is due “this fall” and that Plaza and Abbott “feel very blessed.”
One day later, Plaza debuted her baby bump while walking her dog in the streets of New York City.
Plaza and Abbott, who is best known for his role as Charlie Dattolo on HBO’s Girls, first worked together on the film Black Bear in 2020. The pair later reunited to costar in the Off-Broadway revival of Danny and the Deep Blue Sea in October 2023.
Plaza and Abbott sparked dating rumors in July 2025 when they were spotted cozying up at The Chatham Berry Farm just outside of New York City. They were later seen at a New York Knicks game in November 2025 and a Paris Fashion Week show in February.
Back in 2023, Abbott opened up about his working relationship with Plaza.
“We’re the ones doing it every night, eight times a week. So I think there’s a level of — without going too outside the bounds — keeping it fresh for us and just checking in that we’re having fun on stage, and sort of staying engaged,” he told Vogue at the time.
Plaza and Abbott’s romance comes more than one year Plaza’s estranged husband, Jeff Baena, died by suicide at age 47 in January 2025. (It was revealed after his death that he and Plaza had separated in September 2024.)
“This is an unimaginable tragedy,” a rep for Plaza told Us Weekly in a statement at the time. “We are deeply grateful to everyone who has offered support. Please respect our privacy during this time.”
Plaza later opened up about her grief during an August 2025 appearance on Amy Poehler’s “Good Hang” podcast.
“Overall, I’m here, and I’m functioning, and I feel grateful to be moving through the world,” the Parks and Recreation alum said at the time. “I think, like, I’m OK, but it’s a daily struggle, obviously.”
