Nina Dobrev turns heads in black string bikini amid lavish girls’ trip

Nina Dobrev showcased her svelte bikini body on Thursday when she shared a carousel of pictures from her recent girls’ trip to Los Cabos, Mexico, alongside stars like Selena Gomez and Emily in Paris’ Ashley Park.

The actress sizzled in a black string bikini as she posed with her friend, who was clad in a black cover-up swimsuit. Nina, who completed her look with a polka-dot headband, wore a wide smile as her friends snapped the picture on the deck of a yacht.

The Vampire Diaries actress added shared photos of her friends to social media, including Ashley lying on a couch next to her in a multi-colored bikini and beach wrap.

Nina also posted several cryptic quotes about friendship and self-love, with one reading: “I fall in love with how my best friends show up for me. I fall in love with the way they know the names of people who hurt me and protect me from them.”

“Girls,” she captioned the post, alongside a heart emoji. Fans took to the comment section to share the love, with one writing: “Do you ever sleep? You’re everywhere, with everyone, just living your best life. It’s so good to see you this happy. Keep it up!” while another added: “Diva, beautiful, iconic.”

Another fan chimed in: “First step. Say YES to a girls’ trip,” while another added: “So beautiful Nina.” The 37-year-old has enjoyed several getaways with her friends in recent months, after splitting from her partner of five years, Shaun White, in September 2025.

She was seen soaking up the sun on a yacht in Italy with Zac Efron, Chase Crawford, and Miles and Keleigh Teller shortly after her split, and even sparked romance rumors with the High School Musical actor.

When asked about their connection by TMZ in October, she simply replied: “I’m excited for the future, and the only thing that’s guaranteed is change.” Nina went public with Shaun, an Olympic snowboarder, in 2019, and the pair got engaged in October 2024.

Days after their split, Nina posted a video on TikTok that hinted at animosity between herself and her ex-fiancé, with the star lip-syncing to a sound that said: “What’s your advice for women trying to fix their man? Listen, Bob the Builder, he’s got 10 other women trying to fix him too, and you all look like a damn construction crew.”

Since their split, Nina has been incredibly active on social media and has showcased her athletic figure in a myriad of stunning bikini snaps. In order to achieve her look, the brunette beauty works out every day in her home gym, which was built during the pandemic.

“I used a personal trainer and relied on a lot of outside sources for my fitness – especially because I used to be so busy traveling and working. But once I was home, I realized I didn’t have much [gym equipment] at home, so I went into a mad dash,” she explained to Shape.

“I started slowly, over time, accumulating equipment and things that I could use to move my workouts at home…It’s really nice to have that flexibility of working out, whether it’s really early in the morning before I go to set, or really late at night when I get home from set, or after a long flight.”
