Millie Bobby Brown gave fans a rare glimpse of her baby daughter – and she has so much hair!
The Stranger Things actress, 22, and her husband, Jake Bongiovi, 24, adopted their baby girl last summer, but have rarely shared photos of her or publicly revealed her name.
However, on Monday, July 6, Millie felt in a giving mood and posted a carousel of photos to Instagram from her summer so far.
The standout was a sweet picture of Millie and her daughter, who rocked a full head of dark hair as her mom kissed her on the cheek.
Millie announced that she and Jake had welcomed their daughter via adoption in August 2025.
“This summer, we welcomed our sweet baby girl through adoption,” Millie first announced on Instagram on Thursday, August 21.
“We are beyond excited to embark on this beautiful next chapter of parenthood in both peace and privacy,” she went on, confirming: “And then there were three.” The comments section on the post was disabled.
Millie explained in an interview in November why she and Jake were maintaining their daughter’s privacy.
“For me, it’s really important to protect her and her story until she’s old enough to potentially one day share it herself,” she told British Vogue. “It’s not my place to purposefully put her in the spotlight unwillingly.”
© InstagramShe added: “If she chooses to share her personality one day with the world, like I did when I was young, that’s something we’d support. But right now, as she’s so little – as her parents, it’s our job to protect her from that.”
While Millie hasn’t confirmed her daughter’s name, many fans think she is named after her late grandmother, who died in 2020, after the actress shared a photo of herself wearing a necklace that spelled out ‘Ruth’.
Millie and Jake hope to have more children in the future, but she revealed her plan had always been to adopt.
© Instagram“Hopefully one day that’s in my future,” she said recently on Kylie Kelce’s Not Gonna Lie podcast about expanding her family. “But for me, adoption was always a part of my future. Adoption is love. Adoption is forever.”
Speaking on the Smartless podcast last summer with Jason Bateman, Will Arnett and Sean Hayes, Millie teased that motherhood was definitely on the horizon for her, despite her young age.
“I’m still really young, but my mom actually had her first child at 21, and my dad was 19, and you know, it’s been my thing since before I met Jake,” she said.

Speaking about adoption, she explained: “I don’t see having your own child, you know, as really any different as in adopting.
“For me, like, my home is full of love for anyone and anything, and so that is what we stand by, Jake and I — our energy in the house is like, ‘The door is always open.'”
