Mike Vrabel and a pregnant Dianna Russini were caught on video during their private boat trip nearly five years ago.
Footage of the pairâs excursion, which was obtained by TMZ Sports Thursday, showed the New England Patriots head coach and the sports reporter walking together on the dock of a private boat rental company in Putnam County, Tennessee, in June 2021.
The then-Tennessee Titans coach, clad in a dark T-shirt and blue swim shorts, trailed behind Russini in the surprising footage.
Russini, who was also dressed casually in an oversized graphic T-shirt and green shorts, appeared visibly pregnant in the clip.
The newly released video of Vrabel and the former ESPN reporter comes less than 24 hours after TMZ Sports reported on the pairâs boat outing in Tennessee.
A source with direct knowledge of the matter told the outlet that Vrabel and Russini rented the vessel for two to three hours and that the pair were âcautious about photos being takenâ during the expedition.
TMZ Sports also obtained documents showing that Vrabel and Russini both signed a waiver before climbing aboard the private boat.
Although the duo was said to be hesitant about having photos taken, the former Patriots linebacker reportedly posed for a single photo under the condition that it wouldnât be shared publicly.
Russini â who was already married to husband Kevin Goldschmidt at the time â was around seven months pregnant with her first child during the outing.
The couple had married in September 2020 and welcomed their first son, Michael, in August 2021.
Reps for Vrabel and Russini did not immediately respond to Page Sixâs requests for comment.
Page Six first obtained exclusive photos of Vrabel, 50, and Russini, 43, embracing, holding hands and taking a dip in the pool at an exclusive resort in Sedona, Arizona, back in March.
When reached for comment, both Vrabel and Russini claimed they were at the high-class resort with a group of friends â despite multiple eyewitnesses disputing that claim to Page Six.
âThese photos show a completely innocent interaction and any suggestion otherwise is laughable. This doesnât deserve any further response,â Vrabel told us in a statement at the time.
Russini added in her own statement to Page Six, âThe photos donât represent the group of six people who were hanging out during the day. Like most journalists in the NFL, reporters interact with sources away from stadiums and other venues.â
When the first batch of photos was released, Russini was still working as an NFL insider for the Athletic.
The outlet initially downplayed the surprising pics, but later sidelined Russini and launched an investigation into her conduct. She resigned from the sports outlet on April 14.
As for Vrabel, he publicly addressed the scandal ahead of the 2026 NFL Draft last month.
After saying he had âsome difficult conversationsâ with his family and the Patriots organization, coaches and players, the NFL coach announced his plans to skip Day 3 of the NFL Draft to âseek counseling.â
The headline-making saga took yet another turn last month when Page Six published another set of photos, this time of Vrabel and Russini cozying up together inside a New York City bar in March 2020.
An eyewitness told us that the pair âwere kissingâ and âall over each otherâ during the late-night outing.
The insider also noted that Vrabel â who was already married to wife Jen at the time â âhad a ring onâ during the sighting, which was visible in the pics.
âI take accountability for my actions and for the actions that caused distraction to the people that I care most about â my family, this football team, the organization and the fans,â Vrabel said in part during a pre-NFL Draft press conference on April 23, just hours after the new images were released.
âMy previous actions donât meet the standards that I hold myself to, they donât â and I think itâs best for the two most important things in my life â my family and my football team â is for us to take the necessary steps to work together and to get done what I told them Iâd give them, which is the best version of me.â
