Michelle Yeoh unveiled a striking new hairstyle during Paris Haute Couture Week. The Oscar-winning actress turned heads on Monday as she arrived at Chanel’s Autumn/Winter 2026 Haute Couture show, debuting her shortest and lightest hair in months.
Michelle, 63, showcased a chic platinum crop with softly tousled layers and darker roots peeking through, giving the sophisticated style a modern edge.
The Wicked star complemented her dramatic beauty transformation with an intricately embroidered silver floral Chanel skirt suit, layered over a crisp white top.
She completed the polished look with classic black pointed pumps, oversized cat-eye sunglasses and one of Chanel’s signature quilted flap bags, effortlessly embodying the French fashion house’s timeless elegance.
A fresh new chapter
Michelle’s latest look marks a notable departure from the longer brunette hairstyles she has favoured for much of the past year.
While the actress has experimented with blonde tones before, this is her boldest transformation yet.
The last time she embraced lighter locks was in April, when she attended the Breakthrough Prize Ceremony in Los Angeles wearing a honey-blonde chin-length bob styled in loose waves. She paired the glamorous hairstyle with a sleek black suit and one of her favourite accessories: an ultra-luxurious Richard Mille watch.
Michelle has long been an ambassador for the prestigious Swiss watchmaker, whose timepieces frequently command six-figure price tags.
Earlier this year, when she received her star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, she wore a dazzling diamond-encrusted Richard Mille watch reportedly worth around $1 million. On that occasion, she paired the extraordinary accessory with a sunshine-yellow Dior dress, silver stilettos and her signature long dark hair.
A Chanel moment
For her latest appearance, however, the focus was firmly on Parisian glamour.
Michelle’s shimmering Chanel ensemble featured delicate floral embroidery and textured detailing throughout, offering a contemporary take on the iconic tweed suit the French fashion house is famous for.
The actress kept her jewellery understated, allowing her fresh platinum hairstyle and couture ensemble to take centre stage.
Michelle joined an impressive guest list at the presentation as Chanel unveiled its latest Haute Couture collection during one of fashion’s biggest weeks.
Busy year ahead
Michelle has enjoyed an extraordinary run of career milestones over the past few years following her historic Academy Award win for Everything Everywhere All at Once.
Most recently, she reunited with director Jon M. Chu for Wicked, while fans are also eagerly awaiting the release of The Odyssey, Christopher Nolan’s ambitious adaptation of Homer’s epic poem, in which she joins another all-star cast.
