The Duchess of Sussex hinted at a possible vow renewal with her husband, Prince Harry, during a light-hearted exchange with two YouTubers while on a recent visit to Australia.
Appearing in a YouTube video with best friends Sean Skeels and Marley Whatarau, Meghan was presented with a selection of thoughtful gifts from the duo, who run the popular Get Down with Sean and Marley channel, which boasts more than one million subscribers.
After watching Meghanâs Netflix series, With Love, Meghan, Sean and Marley had previously tried their hand at recreating âMeghanâs Spaghettiâ. The Duchess later sent them a thank-you note along with a basket of treats from her lifestyle brand, As Ever.
In the video, shared on Monday, the pair gifted Meghan a variety of items, including cuddly toys and NRL football jerseys for her children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet. They also presented her with Minties, which Meghan revealed are âmy momâs favourite and theyâre my favouriteâ, as well as chicken salt to elevate her cooking.
Meghan jokes about renewing her views
One particular gift, however, sparked a particularly amusing reaction. âOh, I see whatâs coming,â Meghan said, as Sean pulled out a pair of menâs swimming briefs.
âI see that. Thatâs going to be for my husband. I just have a feeling,â she added with a smile. As Sean handed over the âAussie Bumâ budgie smugglers, Meghan quipped: âFor the love of my life. We might renew our vows with him wearing these.â
Holding them up for a closer look, Meghan laughed before folding them neatly and thanking the pair. âThis is very meaningful. Thank you,â she said warmly, before embracing Sean.
She later added: âPeople love you both so much. Your show is amazing because youâre both amazing.
âIâm proud of both of you and Iâm so happy and Iâm so grateful for all the gifts. You guys keep doing what youâre doing. Your show is awesome and so are you.â
Meghanâs surprise MasterChef Australia appearanceÂ
Sean and Marley werenât the only ones to receive a special visit from the Duchess during her time Down Under. Meghan also made a âspecial guestâ appearance on season 18 of MasterChef Australia, which aired on Sunday 19 April.
In a video shared on Instagram, judge Poh Ling Yeow announced: âWeâve had royalty in the MasterChef kitchen before, but no one like this! All the way from sunny California, please welcome to MasterChef Australia, the Duchess of Sussex!âÂ
Beaming as she entered to rapturous applause, Meghan greeted contestants and fellow judges Sofia Levin and Jean-Christophe Novelli.
With Meghan on hand to mentor some of the cooks, Poh later revealed the contestantsâ reactions were exactly as hoped. âThey were in total shock; everyoneâs jaws were on the ground,â she told 10 News. âIn their wildest dreams, they would not have expected this, so it was very joyous for us to watch.â
Sofia added: âIâm not sure they did keep their composure! It was a very joyous atmosphere, very excited, lots of hairs standing on end, that sort of thing.â
