What has Stella said about her father?

Stella is aware of the “nepo-baby” accusations coming her way, but she told The Line of Best Fit that she is not worried and she has a close relationship with her father, praising him for giving her a sense of “grit” and determination to succeed.

“I’m very, very close with my family. My dad in particular was the first intro to music that I ever had because country radio was blasting in the car no matter where we were going,” she said. “He’s the biggest Swiftie! So I feel like he just had a huge impact on what I grew up loving.”

Stella is aware of the ‘industry plant’ accusations

“There’s going to be all these opinions that are thrown around and I totally understand that,” she said, adding that her father is her “favorite person on the planet.”

Is Stella Lefty an industry plant?

Accusations of being an industry plant are often thrown at new artists who find immediate success and have connections; Clairo and Billie Eilish were both described as industry plants early in their career.

The singer told Rolling Stone that the discourse feels “unnatural,” but acknowledged there would always “be people who don’t like me or my music, or something about me.”
