If there’s one thing we are certain of, it’s that summer is Maya Jama’s season.
The 31-year-old Love Island host has been truly in her element of late, posing up a storm in an array of killer bikinis, but her latest behind-the-scenes shot may just be our favourite.
Taking to her Instagram account, the British TV personality shared an array of striking snaps from her recent shoot with APSwim, including one which saw her showing off her modelesque legs in the cut-out swimsuit of dreams.
“More from the AP shoot,” she penned in the caption alongside a sunshine emoji. In the stunning snap, Maya was seen leaning on a giant plant pot, the position highlighting her legs, which have never looked longer.
The presenter’s impressively long legs were accentuated even more with a sultry pair of peep-toe stilettos. The backdrop of Maya’s shots couldn’t have been more idyllic, the former Radio 1 DJ posing against a vibrant blue sky and verdant palm trees.
Double trouble
In a second shot, Maya revealed the one-shoulder swimsuit in all its glory. From the front, the daring piece featured a large cut-out on the torso, making way to display the star’s killer abs, and a gold chain embellishment on the singular spaghetti strap.
As for her hair, Maya wore her trademark raven locks down, blow-dried with copious volume. Her camera-read make up look was comprised of black fluttery lashes, warm honey-hued bronzer and nude lipstick – a winning combination.
Other photos in the carousel saw Maya relaxing on a pink beach towel in the middle of a clear-blue taking a sip from a matching pink bottle of water.
Another saw the brunette bombshell striking a pose in a vibrant turquoise bikini.
Changing times
The killer bikini shoot comes amid changing times for Maya, who recently split with her footballer boyfriend, Ruben Dias.
On Friday, the Manchester City player took to social media to confirm the details of their break-up amid speculation of infidelity on his part.
Ruben wrote: “That’s where I draw the line. When my 85-year-old grandad is asking me if I’ve cheated on my girlfriend because he’s seen it repeatedly on the news, that’s where I draw the line on what’s acceptable and what’s not,” he said.
“Maya and I have always had a relationship built on mutual respect. No line was ever crossed in that regard.”
“A lie told often enough can start to feel like the truth and for that reason I tell you that I didn’t cheat, nor did I ever have the intention or temptation to. I believe Maya deserves all the respect in the world.
He continued: “The reasons why we broke up are private and belong to us and we’ve both dealt with it in a very mature way. I’ve always chosen to remain silent on these matters as my personal life is my business only. But I also believe it’s wrong to lie to people and to portray an opposite image of someone just for clickbait. Respect me, respect Maya, and understand that not always one has to betray the other in order for a relationship to end.”
