Martha Stewart will forever be that girl.
In a room full of New Yorkâs most renowned chefs, Stewart reigned supreme.
The domestic diva arrived to Casa Gessi on Tuesday night for the launch of Bilt Hospitality and was âpersonally fĂȘtedâ by the best in the industry, weâre told. Vikas Khanna, COTEâs Simon Kim, Fish Cheekâs Jen Saesue, and Bungalowâs Jimmy Rizwi, were all left a bit starstruck, a spy told Page Six.
One chef was overheard gushing, âMarthaâs first-name-only famous, seeing her here had made my night.â
Guests also got a first-hand look of whatâs to come on Bravoâs upcoming season of âThe Real Housewives of New York City,â sans the cameras.
âHousewifeâ newcomer â and Bilt founder Ankur Jainâs wife â Erika Hammond, was making the rounds with her castmates, Jessel Taank and her husband Pavit Randhawa, Carole Radziwill, and Stewartâs makeup artist, Daisy Toye, who attended with her boss and Stewartâs longtime publicist bestie, Susan Magrino.
Head Chef for Team USA and a Bocuse dâOr competitor, Chef Vincenzo Loseto, provided small bites like french fries with ice cream topped with caviar, and a crab tart with fried chicken skin. Daniel Boulud introduced the Long Island native chef, who then provided the highlight of the evening: a cooking demonstration.
The event also brought out Lucaliâs Mark Iacono, Lure Fishbar owner and Mercer Street Hospitalityâs John McDonald, Dinex CEO Sebastien Silvestri, chef Katie Button, The Points Guy Brian Kelly, and Massimo Lusardi, who brought his wife, Uva and Nightlyâs owner, Jayne Moore, as his date.
