Margaret Qualley addresses cheating rumors amid Jack Antonoff split reports

Margaret’s representative pushed back against the narratives surrounding the pair, insisting the actress had not cheated on her husband. “The narratives running in the press are categorically untrue,” the statement read. “There are no trust issues. There was no infidelity or anything outside of respect and partnership in this relationship. They have deep love and care for one another.” It continued: “There are only two people in this marriage, and the sources who are talking to the press and commenting on their relationship are not people who know them. Please respect their privacy.”

Questions about the couple’s relationship intensified when Jack attended Taylor and Travis’ star-studded wedding without Margaret. Jack has worked closely with Taylor for more than a decade, co-writing and producing some of her biggest albums, while the singer was among the famous guests at his own wedding to Margaret in 2023. His decision to bring his fashion designer sister Rachel as his plus one therefore caught the attention of fans, particularly as Margaret was not photographed at the celebration.

A prior report claimed Margaret and Jack were experiencing a difficult period and were no longer living together. Neither Margaret nor Jack has personally confirmed that they have separated, and their representative’s statement stopped short of addressing the current status of the marriage.

Fans have also pointed to changes on Margaret’s social media accounts as possible evidence of trouble. The Substance actress reportedly removed photographs from her 2023 wedding, along with images from the Grammy Awards in February, when she and Jack were last seen publicly together. 

Margaret and Jack appeared affectionate when they attended the Grammy Awards together earlier this year. The actress’ most recent known public message about her husband came on March 31, when she shared a birthday tribute on Instagram Stories. 

Margaret and Jack were first romantically linked in August 2021 before making their red-carpet debut at the Critics’ Choice Awards the following year. They became engaged in 2022 and married in Long Beach Island, New Jersey, in August 2023. Margaret, the daughter of actress Andie MacDowell, wore an elegant white halterneck gown for the ceremony. For now, the couple’s future remains unclear – but Margaret’s representatives have made one point emphatically clear: the allegations of cheating are false.
