Machine Gun Kelly isn’t afraid to get a little gory on the grid.
MGK, 36, took to Instagram on Wednesday, September 2, to share a pic of his chunky ring, which drew blood. In the photo, he wore a silver ring on his middle finger featuring engravings and a diamond stone on the center. Underneath, his finger was seen bleeding.
The rapper also shared a candid pic of a pimple on his cheek. MGK zoomed in on the blemish while looking to the side. He completed his look with his blond hair slightly wet and diamond hoop earrings.
“I got a pimple. It’ll be at the show in Mexico City tomorrow,” he captioned the post. “It’s my first time performing in Mexico. ORALÉ 🇲🇽❤️.”
Fans were quick to share their opinions in the comments section.
“Did you get into a fight with someone or something??? Your hand ✋🏻,” one questioned, adding, “Cool ring 😎.” Another joked, “The pimple will be opening the show,” while a third commented, “Pimple’s first concert!! Aww 🥹.”
MGK has been known to be a fan of spiked jewelry. In January 2022, he proposed to Megan Fox with a custom emerald and diamond engagement ring. At the time, he shared via Instagram, “I know tradition is one ring, but I designed it with Stephen Webster to be two.”
He added that the stones were “set on two magnetic bands of thorns that draw together as two halves of the same soul forming the obscure heart that is our love.”
That same month, he opened up to Vogue about the unique design, sharing that the bands were “actually thorns.”
“So if she tries to take it off, it hurts,” the “Bloody Valentine” singer explained. “Love is pain!”
He added, “It’s a thoroughbred Colombian emerald, with no treatment. It was just carved into the teardrop, straight out of the mine. And the diamond was directly from Stephen [Webster]. The concept is that the ring can come apart to make two rings. When it’s together, it’s held in place by a magnet. So you see how it snaps together? And then it forms an obscure heart.”
While MGK and Fox, 40, are no longer together, they welcomed their daughter, Saga Blade Fox-Baker, in March 2025.
