James Bond star Jill St John found global fame in 1971 when she was cast as the first American Bond girl opposite Sean Connery in Diamonds Are Forever.
During her Hollywood heyday, Jill was known for her high-profile love life, including entanglements with Michael Caine, Sean Connery, Jack Nicholson, Tom Selleck, and Frank Sinatra.
But decades after the film’s release, Jill has found a more settled life with her husband Robert Wagner, the acclaimed actor whom she met in 1959 when she was 18 but with whom she reconnected in 1982 after the pair were married three previous times.
The pair tied the knot in 1990, and split their time between Los Angeles, California, and Aspen, Colorado before making the latter their home base full time in 2007.

“When my time comes, I will be buried in Aspen, in an old cemetery that was originally laid out in the nineteenth century,” Robert wrote in his 2008 memoir Pieces of My Heart.
“A lot of children are buried there, and it’s in the middle of a glade of aspen and birch trees — very wild and overgrown. As soon as someone is laid to rest, the land is allowed to return to its natural state. . . . It’s absolutely pure and totally peaceful.”

Jill played Mrs. Claus in the TV movie Northpole in 2014, alongside Robert in the role of Santa Clause film. It marked her first acting role after a 12-year absence from the screen, but she retired afterwards.
Robert had a 13-episode arc in NCIS as the father of Michael Weatherly’s Tony DiNizzo, and also joined the 2017 Canadian series Date My Dad.
© Robert WagnerWhile Jill does not have social media, Robert is active and in May shared a rare picture of him and Jill to celebrate their 36th wedding anniversary. Robert was kissing his wife on the cheek in the picture, with Jill closing her eyes as she took in the sweet moment.
“36 years of love and laughter with my beautiful Jill. Happy Anniversary, my love,” he captioned the post, which came six months after he sent Thanksgiving wishes to fans with a picture of him and Jill.
The two met in 1959 when they were contract players at 20th Century Fox, and have starred together in six films, as well as an episode of Seinfeld and a touring production of Love Letters.

“My dad is 96 today. I’ve been so lucky to have him by my side all these years. He is young at heart and older than I ever imagined he would be! Full of wisdom, love and good cheer. He’s funny as hell and as good as they get,” she wrote.

Robert was married to Natalie in 1957, when she was 19, and he was 27. He is also dad to daughter Katie, 62, whom he welcomed with his second wife Marion Marshall, and Courtney, 52, with Natalie, whom he married for a second time in 1972.
Natalie died in 1981 under mysterious circumstances on or near the yacht Splendour while moored near Catalina Island, off the coast of Los Angeles.
Robert, Christopher Walken, and Dennis Davern, the vessel’s captain, were all also on board, and Robert has always insisted that Natalie was not on board when he went to bed, and believed she had left on an inflatable boat by herself, as she had done before.
Her body was found a mile from the yacht, with the boat beached nearby.
An autopsy revealed that the Rebel Without A Cause actress had 39 fresh bruises on her body, including an abrasion on her left cheek. Los Angeles County coroner Thomas Noguchi ruled her death an accident by drowning and hypothermia.
