Alannah Keyser’s father has fired back at accusations of racism after an old video of the Love Island USA newcomer resurfaced online.
Stephane Keyser rushed to his daughter’s defense in an interview with TMZ published on Monday, June 22, just as Alannah, 21, was settling into Casa Amor and building a connection with Zach Georgiou.
Alannah’s dad described her as an “educated sweetheart” and noted that their family has always had friends from different backgrounds, making the hate she is facing ridiculous to him.
The season 8 Casa Amor bombshell has been at the center of controversy after a video came to light, appearing to show her saying the N-word while lip-syncing to a song. It has not been verified whether Alannah is the person seen in the video.
Another screenshot also appeared to show her using the racial slur in an Instagram comment.

Meanwhile, Love Island viewers also pointed out that she seemingly kept her distance from KC Chandler, Corbin Mims and Sincere Rhea while packing on PDA with other contestants. One social media user claimed, “She was making out with Caleb, Bryce, and Zach, but KC, Corbin, and Sincere only get a twerk from a distance? and then she got mad when KC touched her.”
Amid the backlash, Alannah’s friend Nick Rogers also spoke out in her defense.
“She is very caring and the nicest person ever. She has never exhibited any racist traits around me at all,” Nick said while addressing the accusations via TikTok on Monday, June 22. “I have never once considered the fact that Alannah would be someone who’d be racist.”
Nick claimed screenshots on Snapchat that have since been making their rounds are “fake,” adding, “I just can’t imagine, me knowing Alannah, her posting that on social media. And we all know with this AI and everything like that, it could be very easy for these types of scenarios to be manipulated.”
“I looked at the video myself, and I cannot tell whether she is saying the N-word or not,” he continued. “That is a very touchy subject that I know … has been a big conversation over the years and obviously I do agree that it is very inappropriate for someone who is not a person of color or Black to use that word.”
