Lorenzo Lamas confirms romance with Heather Locklear as fans say all the same thing

Lorenzo Lamas has confirmed he is dating Heather Locklear, sending fans into a frenzy after sharing a nostalgic post on X.

The ’90s star revealed the romance with a retro photo of the pair taken from a 1983 edition of Playgirl, showing the then-young actors dressed in sizzling swimwear as they embraced. The image, captured decades before their current relationship, offered a striking full-circle moment for the couple.

Lorenzo captioned the throwback: “100 years ago. God’s grace is truly amazing. ‘Love is patient, love is kind… It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.’ Corinthians 13:4–7.”

The heartfelt message, paired with the intimate image, was widely interpreted as a public declaration of their relationship. A representative for the actor has since confirmed that the pair are indeed seeing each other.

According to reports, the couple, now aged 68 and 64 respectively, have been quietly dating since at least December 2025. They were also recently spotted together at Barry’s Steakhouse in Las Vegas on New Year’s Eve, further fuelling speculation before Lorenzo made things official.

The confirmation comes almost a year after Heather ended her engagement to high school sweetheart Chris Heisser in May 2025 after five years together. 

At the time, she had spoken openly about their bond, saying: “I’m like, ‘You’re my man for the rest of my life, whether we get married or not.’ [A wedding] is so not important. We’re together, and we love each other and support each other. And really that’s all that matters.”

Heather, best known for her role in Melrose Place, has had several high-profile relationships. She was married to Tommy Lee from 1986 to 1993 and later to Richie Sambora from 1994 to 2007, with whom she shares daughter Ava Sambora, now 28. She was also engaged to her Melrose Place co-star Jack Wagner between 2007 and 2011.

As for Lorenzo, he rose to fame in the 1980s as Lance Cumson on Falcon Crest and later starred as Reno Raines in the hit TV series Renegade. 

The actor and producer has been married six times and is a father to six children, including A.J. Lamas, Shayne Lamas, Alexandra Lamas, Victoria Lamas, Isabella Lamas and Paton Ashbrook.

The resurfaced photo, paired with the emotional caption, has struck a chord with fans, many of whom flooded the comments with messages of support. “Y’all make a beautiful couple. Wishing you two much happiness!” one wrote, while others called the pairing an “adorable match.”

Heather has remained a beloved figure among fans and peers alike. Brittany Furlan, wife of Tommy Lee, previously described the actress as “the most kind, down-to-earth person,” adding: “She’s just very cool, very nice, just supportive and just a cool chick all around.”
