Lisa Kudrow Says Friends Cast Only Had One Group Dinner After Show Ended

It’s the one where the cast of Friends try to nail down time for dinner.

Lisa Kudrow revealed that she and her costars on the hit ’90s sitcom—David Schwimmer, Courteney Cox, Jennifer Aniston, Matt LeBlanc and the late Matthew Perry—only managed to all get together once in between the show’s 2004 finale and 2021’s Friends: the Reunion. 

In fact, that’s part of why The Comeback actress had such a blast participating in the HBO special, which celebrated the series’ 25th anniversary. 

“It was so good,” Lisa said of reunion during a Dec. 10 appearance on Jessie Tyler Ferguson‘s Dinner On Me podcast. “We’d only had dinner the six of us once before since the show ended.”

And while the 61-year-old admitted that their meetup happened “10 years” after Friends concluded, she also said that it felt like no time had passed at all. 

“It was like we didn’t miss a beat,” Lisa recalled. “Just us at someone’s house and had dinner and, like, didn’t miss a beat.”
