Lindsey Vonn goes public with new romance in steamy vacation photos

Lindsey Vonn debuted her new romance with fellow skier Matthieu Bailet on Wednesday in a social media post that sent her fans into a frenzy.

The Olympic alpine skier took to Instagram to share photos with her 30-year-old beau, who is a French alpine skier, and included several snaps of the pair vacationing together in a tropical location.

In one photo, the happy couple stood in the crystal-clear waters of a pool overlooking the sea and shared a sweet kiss, with Lindsey in a white bikini and Matthieu in light-colored swim shorts.

Another picture showcased the pair standing on a rock in the ocean as Matthieu held Lindsey from behind. The 41-year-old ended the carousel of photos with a snap of the pair cozying up together as they laid out over the water.

“About that time for a summer recap… pt 1,” she wrote in the caption, as her friends and fans rushed to the comment section to exclaim over the new romance.  

“Can’t wait to see the summer recap part 2,” Matthieu joked, alongside a kissing emoji, while Olympian Ilona Maher added: “The award for the hottest couple goes to…”

Tennis star Sloane Stephens chimed in: “HARD LAUNCH!!!!!!!” while another fan said: “Beautiful couple – wish you both all the best!”

Lindsey and Matthieu were first linked in May when they were seen spending time together in NYC. He competed in the Winter Olympic Games in China in 2022, and made his World Cup debut in 2016 in Switzerland.

Moving on from Diego

Lindsey most recently dated businessman Diego Osorio from 2021 to 2025, and opened up about moving on after their heartbreaking split.  

“Valentine’s Day will look a little different for me this year…but I have my two dogs, so they’ll be my Valentine’s dates,” she told People.

“I think with everything that’s going on in my life, I sometimes have to keep reminding myself that it’s a tough road, but I’m doing what I love to do, and I’m very lucky to be able to do it. But it doesn’t mean that it’s easy, and doesn’t mean that it’s not lonely at times.”

Before Diego, the blonde beauty dated NHL star P.K. Subban from 2017 to 2020, former Los Angeles Rams coach Kenan Smith from 2016 to 2017, and Tiger Woods from 2013 to 2015.

The pro golfer announced their romance on Facebook in March 2013, writing: “Something nice that’s happened off the course was meeting Lindsey Vonn. Lindsey and I have been friends for some time, but over the last few months we have become very close and are now dating.”

“We thank you for your support and for respecting our privacy. We want to continue our relationship, privately as an ordinary couple and continue to compete as athletes.”

Lindsey was married to pro skier Thomas Vonn from 2007 to 2011, and shared that their relationship taught her “a lot”.

“I’m thankful for my years with Thomas,” she told The New York Times. “So this is a difficult time. But I’m not worried that I can’t be successful without him. I’m a strong and capable woman.”
