As is traditional, Denmark’s Royal Palace has shared a series of birthday portraits to mark King Frederik’s 58th birthday.
The new pictures were taken in the Throne Hall at Christiansborg Castle shortly before the big day.
The King and members of the royal family are due to appear on the balcony of Amalienborg Palace at 12.00.
