Kimberly Stewart reveals first glimpse of baby boy a year after giving birth

Rod Stewart’s second daughter Kimberly Stewart shared the very first glimpse of her baby boy on social media on Thursday, a full year after he was born. The 46-year-old took to her Instagram stories to share a snap of her child sitting in a high chair as a homemade cake sat in front of him with a candle in the shape of the number one.

He wore striped blue and white pants and a navy tee in the photo, and his face was covered with a white heart emoji so as to preserve his privacy. 

The post comes more than a year after Kimberly announced she was pregnant with her second child, and after welcoming her daughter, Delilah, in 2011 with Oscar-winning actor Benicio Del Toro.

“Baby boy coming soon,” she wrote in the caption, alongside a photo of her cradling her baby bump while sitting on a garden bench, clad in a beige dress with floral detailing. 

It appears that Kimberly has chosen to keep the identity of her son’s father under wraps. She briefly dated Kourtney Kardashian’s ex-partner, Scott Disick, in 2022, shortly after calling off her engagement to producer Jesse Shapira, whom she dated for three years.

She was involved in an on-and-off-again relationship with Benicio for several years before Delilah was born in 2011, by which time they had already parted ways. Despite this, the pair have remained good friends and appear to peacefully co-parent their 14-year-old.

The teen made her red carpet debut at the 2026 Actor Awards with her dad, more than a decade after he told E! News that he hoped she wouldn’t choose a career in the spotlight. “Kids find out how to manipulate to their advantage somehow by pretending this or pretending that,” he said. “But I think she’s gonna be a teacher. She likes telling me what to do.”

He later shared with The New Zealand Herald that becoming a father had changed his approach to fame altogether. “I try to stay under the radar now,” Benicio explained. “I’m a father, and that changes everything…I’m thinking about the future of another human being who I’m in love with.”

Similarly, Kimberly told HELLO! that welcoming Delilah had shifted her entire worldview. “I honestly never, ever thought that I could love anything as much as I love her,” she said. “I had her at the right time. I got all the partying out of my system, and I just wanted to be with her all the time. I’ve been a stay-at-home mother since she was born and I’ve loved every second.”

“She’s sassy and has great manners,” Kimberly added. “I really instilled that from a young age – so she’s always saying ‘please’ and ‘thank you’.”

Kimberly is no stranger to a blended family, being the second-eldest child of British rocker Rod Stewart. He welcomed his eldest daughter, Sarah, with his ex-girlfriend, Susannah Boffey, when he was still a teenager. She was put up for adoption, and they reconnected later in life.

He then welcomed Kimberly and her brother Sean with his first wife, Alana Stewart, and his daughter Ruby with his ex-girlfriend, Kelly Emberg. Rod married Rachel Hunter and welcomed kids Renee and Liam with her, before they went their separate ways and he wed Penny Lancaster and had sons Alastair and Aiden with her.
